“Really lovely solid wood shelving. The brackets provided to ensure floating attachment are extremely strong and easy to assemble. They really add something special as a feature to my sitting room. I was also impressed with the delivery option to pre-sign the deliver note so that they could be left in a safe place as I was not available for the allocated delivery time. All in all would highly recommend the company.”

“Excellent product and customer service. As long as you are precise with the drilled holes in the wall the beam is very easy to fit into position thanks mainly to the pre drilled holes in the beam.”

“Original issue with order acknowledgement but was resolved very quickly. Product is very nice but I felt communication could have been improved. Reccomended TB check their answer machine more regularly. Product is beautiful but only forms part of the quality of service. Still a satisfied customer.”

“Cannot overstate how pleased I am with the product,the support and the delivery I received from Traditional Beams.I costed a similar product with my local stove supplier who quoted 2.7 times the price which I paid to TB.”

“the beam arrived when expected it is top quality and was cut to size have not fitted it yet but can only look gorgeous when it is i would recommend this company to anyone”

“I ordered a rustic oak beam to position above my range cooker. Our builders built it into the wall to make it appear like an original feature and it looks incredible! Very impressed with the oak quality and the beautiful carved edges! Highly recommend!”

“I am the dictionary definition of picky so I looked at lots of places before placing my order. I already had oak floating shelves and wanted a mantle which would be of a similar colour and style. I read the reviews which seemed very positive so chose the danish oil finish, which is more matt than satin. Very natural-looking. The order was placed after Christmas and had 10% off. It came within the week and there was an email to say when it would be delivered. The colour and style were spot on. A quality piece of wood and when you bring it home don't do as we did and put it by the radiator! Cracks have opened up but not excessively. We bought extra fixings but it went up easily. It has really enhanced the lounge and would buy from this site again, no problem.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have changed the wording of our confirmation e-mails to give customers more clarity around delivery and dispatch times. As I'm sure you can imagine it is very hard for us to stick to strict lead times due to the handmade nature of our products. As with any made to order products during busy periods dispatch time may increase. We're glad you're happy with your beam :)
