“Delighted with the beam we ordered. The website is clear and easy to use, and there was a good choice of products and finishes for what we needed. We took advantage of the fast track despatch option and the beam arrived within a couple of days. Very good product and service, certainly recommended.”

“Unfortunately the basin shelf we ordered, has significant water damage only two weeks after install and with very limited use (the house is currently unoccupied). The customer service since reporting this issue has been extremely unsatisfactory, firstly suggesting that either the installer or tradespeople might be at fault (not the case as no tradespeople have been in the house since the shelf was installed) and secondly to suggest that a Carex bottle resting on the sink has caused the damage. We would expect a shelf of this cost to withstand a Carex bottle and hardly any water exposure, however this is the justification we've received. We're extremely disappointed.”

Hello Lindsey, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry for the issues you have experienced with one of our products. Unfortunately from what has been said, the Carex bottle of hand soap has been left for too long without the residue being cleaned up. No lacquer is bullet proof and will deteriorate over time if an aggressive cleaner is left on the surface. The cleaners will have solvents in them which will break the surface of the lacquer down. We have tried to work with you to find a solution. Unfortunately what we have suggested was not suitable for you. If you ever change your mind about having the item sent back to us for refinishing please don't hesitate to get in touch. Many thanks Traditional Beams
