“Ordered a tin of Sikkens satura plus but the wording on the tin did not have “plus “ Rang up to check but got a bit of a frosty response from the person who answered and who didn’t really know the answer so gave me a number to call at Dulux. The person I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered my question completely and put my mind at rest that The paint I got was exactly as I ordered. Having said all that I would still purchase products from tools-paint again as their price was very competitive and delivery was speedy.”

“I Ordered specialist paint well in advance of the job starting and phoned them to make sure it would be delivered before the easter break. However the paint never arrived so i wont be using them again.”

Hi Nigel, We are truly sorry your paint did not arrive when needed. We have subsequently emailed you and left a voicemail message requesting contact as we would like to apologise "in person" 😒 Your paint was dispatched on 5th April on a Royal Mail Parcelforce 24 hour, scheduled next day delivery (due to arrive 6th April, the day before Good Friday). The paint actually arrived on 11/4/2023, the day after Easter Monday. Royal Mail are one the better carriers and our preferred carrier for this reason, had it have been one of the less reliable carriers it may have been somewhat expected 🙄. This does not excuse the late delivery; you purchased the paint from tools-paint.com and this should have been expected to arrived when indicated. Nothing will undo what has been done but if you are able to contact us, we will see what actions can be taken to restore some faith and enable a further opportunity of supply in the future. Rob. “I ordered a lovely orange outdoor paint from tools-paint as I couldn't get the shade I wanted elsewhere. It was a bit of a gamble as the reviews were mixed.. The paint was quite thin and watery (unsure if this is typical of outdoor paints or not?) so I needed to do 2 coats, however the overall finished look was brilliant! The customer service from tools paint was exceptional and the paint arrived quickly and well packaged. It was exactly the bright shade i wanted. I'd order from them again.”

I do hope you comment that "took a gamble as the reviews were mixed" were pertaining to the Cuprinol paint and not reviews of tools-paint.com :0). Our review feedback should instill confidence, proven by the service you have reported. The Cuprinol paint can be on the thin side and two coats on a bright Orange or Yellow would be anticipated. The pictures however do look good and I can see why you are pleased. It is good to learn that you would have no hesitation in buying from us again. We hope to see you soon. “The first time used this supplier found on line, purchased a used YAMAHA 25HP outboard for my boat. The engine cowell was scratched and the labels scuffed as was a few years old. Although you may think the paint is expensive! the service was A1 with quick delivery, colour match was perfect, paint was easy to use and the matalic finnish was perfect. Used the whole can which sprayed evenly and consistantly with no splutters. Great supplier and fantastic product. Thank you”
