“Could not recommend Tools Paints enough for your provision of any paint system. Initially made a call asking for advice as to which formula to adopt for my kitchen floor. Turned out to be exactly the right course of action, with a combination of epoxy as a base followed by polyurethane as a top coat. Big thank you to Rob Welfare for his kind and considerate attention to my project, who gave me his time to guide me through all my different options available, a true Gentleman.”

The results look spectacular, I am sure you are very pleased with the results. The Rust-oleum Impregnation primer, followed by the water-based epoxy primer and water-based polyurethane in the Cornforth shade should last a considerable time as this is designed for fork-truck traffic 😮. Hi Donna, Thanks for the five star review and positive words. The Coovar Acid Etch floor preparation is a great product, so often overlooked. Every paint tech data sheet will stipulate remove laitance when painting concrete floors and this is perfect for doing this, great choice. Hi John, Thanks for the repeat business and detailed feedback. For sure, the more tins you buy the cheaper the carriage becomes. Sometimes the price of carriage for two tins is the same as for one tin as we have an "up-to" weight limit before there are additional costs. “I placed my paint order with Tool-Paint on the 5th, and it was dispatched on the 7th. However, it wasn’t delivered until the 13th — almost a week after dispatch. No tracking information was provided, so I had no way of knowing where the order was or when to expect it. I only received tracking details after I contacted the company myself. The paint itself may be fine, but the delivery experience and communication were disappointing. Providing tracking information when the order is dispatched would make a big difference.”

Hi John, I am sorry to learn about your experience in terms of a delayed delivery. As you mentioned, the consignment was dispatched within 48 hours but Parcelforce had a "blip" with your delivery. We ship out hundreds of items per week and generally speaking Parcelforce are our preferred carriers as they generally perform very well. We have been selling online and this using carriers for many years, tried and tested many, many carriers, all promising "99.9%+ on-time, in-full deliveries". The track record of these companies suggest otherwise. This is no excuse and I am sorry that your experience was not as anticipated. I am also sorry that you needed to make a phone call to get the consignment number to aid tracking, this is typically emailed at the point of dispatched, I will see what happen in this instance. “We originally ordered the Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt, which unfortunately turned out to be a discontinued line. However, the team quickly provided a fantastic alternative, and our order still arrived right on schedule! “I bought a 10litre tub of Wethertex AP77 Flexible Smooth Masonry Paint from Tools-Paint.com. It was delivered within a couple of days and was very well packaged with no leaks. The Weathertex AP77 paint coverage is as described and I found it was very easy to apply using a large brush. Even with a single coat on a prevously pained wall it applied well and did not require a second coat. Time will tell how well it lasts - hence only the 4 stars.”
