I give a "POOR" mark simply because the cost of shipping is extortionate. Almost £4 for a small jiffy bag and light weight tool is a rip off and will make me look elsewhere next time. Postage charges are not where a company should make great profit.

Hi Mr Heath, thank you for your review, We are sorry to hear that you think our Post & Packing charges are too high. We do send most orders out with no P&P charge but with very low value items it is not possible to absorb the costs of post and packing materials. If we did send them without a P&P charge we would have to raise the price of the goods so you would not "save" any money in the long run. We also advise the P&P charge immediately in the basket as goods are chosen so customers are always aware at the earliest opportunity that there may be a charge, we never hide the charge. This means customers can accept the charge, add more goods to reduce the charge to zero or look elsewhere. We can assure you that we do not make any sort of great profit on P&P charges. They are there to cover costs on very small orders at best. Return item not collected! After agreeing to take back an item on Monday, come Friday it's still sitting in my porch waiting to be collected. And my refund is no where to be seen either.

Unfortunately the box was damaged and when I opened it the runner for the back table had been dented and the plastic attachment could not fit. I managed to knock out the runner..It works but I need pressure to put it in position..not what I expected for an item costing eighty pounds. ...The packaging is so poor for an item that consists of slender steelwork which is very easily bent. Transport of such items needs closer attention...The original cardboard package is clearly not enough...my only choice was to send it back...I sent back two items of this order to amazon because of damage so I tried eBay. .Some you win..Some you loose.

Place order for three items, all showing as in stock. Had confirmation email then nothing for 4 working days. When I queries, I was told one of the items was out of stock at the suppliers. I understand mistakes happen but this could have been communicated to me better and sooner; all I had was a status on the website of "order in progress" which was meaningless. To be fair, after I made contact the in stock items were released which arrived after 2 working days, but had I known there was an issue, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to cancel and re-order elsewhere.

Hi, sorry about this but I wasn't really satisfied with the overall service I received. The worst part is, it wasn't really anything to do with your end. I found the part quickly and easily on your web site. The ordering was straight forward and easy to complete the purchase. You dispatched the item I ordered quickly and efficiently. All very good. Now comes the problem. DPD tried to deliver the item the next day unfortunately, I wasn't home. I rang the number on the card and selected to collect the parcel from my local drop off point. Despite the email informing me that it had been delivered it wasn't at the collection point. It has taken me three days to get my order from the couriers. Not from yourselves, the couriers. Therefore, I feel it necessary to only give you a 'poor' rating. Will have to seriously consider ordering from you again if you continue to use DPD as your courier.

We use various carriers and DPD are generally excellent but occasionally even the best have a problem. We have passed your comments onto DPD for investigation and their comment. I was expecting next day delivery as the site said if I order in the next 2 hours it would be. So I bought the item unfortunately it turned at at 4.20pm on the Monday rather than the Saturday. I'd rather have paid the £2 more else where to get next day delivery.

Order was not complete Again! Delivery cost a shocking £15! Damaged item! When I rang to advise, salesman said could I email and take photos. He was not interested in taking the details. Sorry guys - but you need to better than this!

I am not happy that the item delivery date was supposed to be the 22nd it was brought to my home on the seventeenth now l have to collect it from the parcel centre miles away and also pay for that service. Thanks alot

Hi, thank you for your review, we are sorry that you are not happy with the delivery service we used. It is most unusual to receive a complaint about a delivery that was faster than advised. The Royal Mail will usually take the parcel to the nearest suitable Post Office for collection within a few miles of the delivery address if they cannot deliver so we cannot understand why this would be "miles away" or why there would be a charge? I have emailed you - having not received my order on the day Royal Mail said - so I can't review your product Royal Mail have got to get their service sorted out - at least leave a note saying why it hasn't been delivered - or our post office is just round the corner from the house = a note saying it has delivered there. It is not you - it is them!!!

Bought on Ebay. They advertise 24hr delivery but say 31 days in their small print. Took nearly two weeks just to despatch. Not good at all

Hi Paul, thank you for your review, we are sorry if your delivery was later than you expected. We have looked into your order and can see that the particular product you ordered was not showing on a 24hr despatch time as we were awaiting new stock to arrive. It would have stated at least 7-10 working days as this particular manufacturer is very slow to deliver. Further e-mails would have advised any more delays beyond this period. We list over 65,000 lines from over 300 manufacturers so unfortunately some products do go out of stock occasionally and we always try to advise accurate despatch dates when this happens and keep customers informed if there are any further issues. Once again we are sorry if the despatch of this item was slightly later than we advised but we did advise that it was not available for immediate despatch. Thank you for your order. We have investigated what has happened and can see that you ordered on the 2nd of October, the product ordered was advised on a 7-10 working day despatch time. We despatched the goods on the 12th of October so within our advised time by Royal Mail 1st Class Post as it was a small item. This should have been with you in 1-2 days. We have had no report of the goods not arriving? Now we know that there is a problem we will conduct an investigation and get replacements etc. arranged as soon as possible. I received the wrong product because Tooled-Up used the manufacturer's product code to describe something else. Needless to say I was left to sort out the consequences of their cock-up.

These sockets took so long to turn up I had bought a set from Machine Mart to do the job before they arrived, a week and a half later !! MOT work had to be done but I gave them long enough to send them. Order in plenty of time if you are going to use them.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your review, we have looked at your order and the items you ordered were shown on the Website at the time of your order as taking 5-7 working days to despatch as they were Facom items and had to be delivered from France. We actually despatched the goods on the 7th working day as advised. still awaiting delivery have tel parcelforce several times have been told the customer care centre will tel back no call back so tel again tobe told cc centre wil ldef call back within 1 hour 48 hrs on still waiting parcel force has let you down

Hi Andrew, thank you for your review, we are sorry to see that your delivery was less than perfect. We have investigated the timeline and delivery of your order and can see that Parcelforce did have some difficulty finding your premises, probably due to its location. They did try on two consecutive days and then you yourself re-scheduled the delivery. It has now been delivered according to the tracking on the Parcelforce site. We will always try to call back as quickly as we can when we promise to do so unfortunately on this occasion a busy period combined with a staff shortage meant that some call backs were delayed. The system doesn't send any emails to confirm your order, so you are left wondering whether it has gone through ok, and the order status just says 'processing' all the time. What would be a good service is let down by the online tracking. It actually fulfilled perfectly, but you have no idea what is going on

Hi Mike, thank you for your review, we were very surprised to see your review as we send e-mails at every part of the process, we send a confirmation e-mail within seconds of the order being placed , we then send a second e-mail when the order is accepted onto the system. We then also e-mail despatch advice when it leaves us with all the tracking details. We are sorry if you did not receive these e-mails but they are automated and so go to the e-mail as it is on the order when placed. They may have also gone into your into your Junk file or been stopped by a spam filter if you did not register us? Thank you for your order. Regards, tooled up
