“DPD delivered a soaking wet box outer cardboard soaked inner packaging soaked. Email a heads up and said good job the goods was in an aluminium casing. Replying nothing can be done, didn't even get an apology which is business as usual. Even asked for pictures which I supplied. Good luck in this climate!”

“Great price for the tools I needed. My only issue was that having spent over £75 and getting free next day delivery (which is great) I needed to give the delivery driver a code, I wasn’t aware of this but so had to make arrangements for someone to be at home. If they could put this on the note when giving delivery options. But all in all great product and received next day. Will use again”

“The item was sent out very quickly but getting the parcel was a pain as needed pin number to give to DPD before they would leave had pin number but was at work every time they tried to deliver . So had no option of safe place or delivery to neighbours”

“Ordered a Hyundai HYCH2400E Electric Garden Shredder 2400w Electric Wood Chipper 230v (HYCH2400E) later on Wednesday, delivered on time (1 hour window from the courier) on Friday. Excellent machine, chipped 80+litres of mostly woody stems today. Machine pulls stems in and shreds them well. Not as noisy as some of the competitors machines(?), would thoroughly recommend it on price and perfomance. Many thanks, Mike Constable”

“I bought a Makita lawnmower from Alan Wadkins Tool Store. This was a first time purchase based on the excellent customer reviews. I came across AWTS from an internet search and later found that the company was based in Darlington which is relatively local for our Northumberland location.The website is well laid out with excellent product descriptions. Costs were very competitive. Making the order was easy online and supporting paperwork followed promptly to confirm the purchase and delivery date. From making the order to receiving delivery was three days including two weekend days. My lawnmower arrived safely and in good condition by Fed Ex. It was brand new as expected and matched my order. Well done Alan Wadkins. I am a very pleased and satisfied customer. This afternoon I have just cut the lawn and the mower worked fine and has exceeded my expectations. Many Thanks, Dave”

“Not very happy about the item purchased. The box in which it arrived was apparently opened several time, very used, torn down. On the item itself there were visible scratches and marks of use. Instead of resonable explanation from the seller I received only answer that the stuff they sell is brand new. Honest explanation would be nicer...”

Hi Jan You now only leave as negative review having purchased the item over 7 weeks ago. You also didn`t mention anything 3 weeks ago to us when you emailed asking for a copy invoice? All our items we sell are brand new products. We will tape use clear tape around the edge of boxes to ensure the parcel contains arrive still in the box provide. Regards Martin
