“We LOVE Social Cat. It's an amazing concept and all the collaborators we have worked with have been great. Less click please - Reduce the friction and make the process of reviewing easier Opportunities Page Bigger profile pic - the thumbnail image doesn't help I would love it if the opportunities page could include everything you need to know without having to click away - including a gallery of photos and perhaps a drop-down with more info on each potential collaborator Collaborations Page Bigger profile pic, please - thumb - is kind of useless and I do not want to make any unnecessary clicks just to get a better idea of who the collaborator is! Be great to have access to chats on this page Dealing with multiple collaborators can be confusing would be great if this page could include everything you need to know without having to click away - including a gallery of photos perhaps a drop-down with more info on each potential collaborator. “Social Cat has been very helpful in connecting us with influencers but the system needs improvement. Influencers don't seem to read the briefs properly and therefore often do not align. Not all content creators upload their content to the system. With some tweaks, it could be much more beneficial to both companies and creators.”

“The platform is great! The only reason why I left 4 rather than 5 stars is that the inbox tends to be a bit messy without a labelling system, plus sometimes new messages do not pop up on the top of the list so you have to scroll down to find them. Other than this, this platform is super useful and very recommended!”

“The concept is good. The quality of the "influencers" is hit or miss. My biggest issue is there's no way to enforce compliance with deadlines. Influencers agree to create by a certain date, but that date comes and goes and we are stuck trying to get the influencers to do what they agreed to. It's giving "some are in it just for free products". Also, someone with 1 follower should NOT be an influencer. So, the platform's premise is spot on - just need to tighten up on the quality of the influencers and more accountability on the part of the influencers to deliver ON TIME. As small business owners we can't afford to be gifting with nothing in return.”

Hi Kinyatta, Thanks for the review & feedback; we appreciate it. Please see some of our thoughts below: We do have a manual process of approving the influencers on the platform, and the rules are pretty strict; however, we agree that not all of them are great quality, and different influencers are good for different goals: UGC, awareness, or sales. In this case, you can decline the collaborations with the ones you don't want to work with. Regarding deadlines, we advise brands to give creators up to 14 days since they receive the product to complete the collaboration. If this timeline is passed, you can report the creators using our reporting function; we can do the heavy lifting for you here. In the case of the influencer with one follower, I think that might be a mistake, and we need to investigate a bit more; we'll reach out to you via email right now to chat about the above and how we can provide a better experience. “I am finding Social Cat fairly useful in connecting with influencers. However, the site could be more user friendly. To navigate from users to collaborations to conversations and back there's no easy access set of buttons. I think the makers of the site have concentrated too hard on making it look stripped back and clean looking, without considering how it will be used.”

“Not a bad platform for brands to connect with micros. Brands need to carefully vet the authenticity of influencers' social accounts as many just want free products and then do not post. Best to ensure brief is very tight.”

“We've made 10 mutual matches and 8 have sent us products and we have had a great experience. 2 have ghosted us and only 2 out of the 8 have written a review, despite us asking. We love this concept and the brands we have collaborated with have been very happy!”
