Very poor selection of influencers. 70% them are very unprofessional and don't ever post reviews in the given time. Too much follow up with influencers. I have had very bad luck with the limited pool of influencers for my product. I will search for other inflencer sights as SocialCat needs to get tighter on their qualifications of influencers. They are very poor standards.

Irresponsible Influencers (most of them took the product then go ghost mode, didn't follow the contract details) and 0 customer service to resolve the issues. No Email reply, Live chat direct user to email, and no phone number provided. I even tried the Instagram DM and couldn't get the help. Do you guys have have customer service team? No enough use case being studied from the product team. most of the issues are foreseeable and should have been covered through proper use-case testing. At this point, it looks like either the problem is being intentionally ignored or the product team is failing at basic product responsibility. Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this service to anybody.

only a few creators were worth working with. not worth the cost. many creators make separate accounts to post on, not using their high value accounts as advertised.

The bidding cap you place on creators really causes friction when trying to negotiate with brands.

Hi Daniel, We don't have a cap on earnings on the platform, if you are not able to increase the compensation amount, this has been set by the brand as the maximum they are wanting to pay out for that specific campaign. I cancelled my subscription but they reactivated me without telling me, and they are still charging my account. I never got a cancellation email from them, so their system definitely has a bug. Their customer service won't help either.

Horrible experience. Lots of FAKE accounts on this platform. A bunch of content creators that just take the product and never make content. Smh. Social Cat doesn't help you, they don't refund you for the lost product plus shipping. It's a giant money grab. This is the review I'm going to start leaving every possible place I can. I’ve been using Social Cat for about a month and will be canceling before they try to take another $100. There’s no guarantee influencers will actually post your video — I sent free product, paid for shipping, and got nothing back. Now I’m seeing others leaving the same one-star reviews for the same “creator.” After researching, I found many of the matched influencers are inactive, fake, or total scams. The platform limits how many people you can contact, the “7-day free trial” is useless, and if you cancel before the next billing cycle, they block you from seeing your own content — even if you already paid. Between the fee, shipping, and product cost, I lost money for zero results. Save your time and money — you’re better off reaching out to influencers yourself on TikTok or Instagram. Social Cat is all hype and no delivery. They ask you how hard it was to get a refund?? Well they told me they were canceling my account and refunding me but instead they tried to deduct another 100 dollars from my bank account. My bank had to put a fraud alert on my account for suspicious activity which then froze my business debit card and I'm currently still waiting for a new debit card. 🥴🥴🥴 Such a hassle and inconvenience.

We take reports of non-delivery seriously, and creators will be immediately banned once this is reported to us. Please email hello@thesocialcat.com with details so our team can review and assist directly. "The platform limits how many people you can contact, the “7-day free trial” is useless, and if you cancel before the next billing cycle, they block you from seeing your own content — even if you already paid. Between the fee, shipping, and product cost, I lost money for zero results." During the 7 day free trial you have access to 3 matches as communicated before joining. If you cancel during this trial, you will still have access to the platform indefinitely- we never- under any circumstances, revoke this access. If you log into your account now, you will find that you will absolutely still be able to access the inbox and communicate with all of these creators and download all content- even if you have never paid us. The content is yours. Just to further clarify, there was one billing attempt on your card at the end of the free trial (before you canceled) which was declined and when the second attempt was successful, you contacted us and we immediately refunded this payment. We will happily provide you with proof of this refund if you contact us directly as we can not attach that here. Kind regards, Team Social Cat

Unfairly penalizes creators. Unreasonable expectations - do not recommend. You get far more success reaching out to brands directly.

Hey Paula! We suspend creator's accounts where they are reported to us for fraud (ie accepting products and not fulfilling contracts) until all overdue content is published to the platform as contractually agreed. Whilst this may sound harsh, as long as you've been in contact with a brand where there is a genuine reason for a delay, your account will not be reported to us. If it is reported and we can see you've been responsive on the inbox and let the brand know the reason as well as when to expect content, we would not take this action before contacting you beforehand to gather more information. As discussed, (without going into too much detail in the interest of yours and the brand's privacy) you'd accepted a contract with a brand as well as the service and later decided not to publish any content in return for this. We did give you the option to publish this and then we would re-activate your account, however you declined and suggested you were far too busy. Let us know if you now have some free time and we can speak to the brand on your behalf if you'd like 😊

1) Free trial period of seven days is completely inadequate to locate relevant influencers with good engagement rates. 2) Availibility of influencers in my area of interest is dismal. 3) Vast majoirty of influencers on the site are labled as 'beauty/skincare' or 'fashion'. The % of influencers in each category should be more transparent to customers before they sign up. 4) The search capability actually says that the response rate for influencers on the site is 1%, so I would have to find 100 influencers to get even one person to respond - and that person may not actually end up agreeing to the job - so having such a limited number to chose from makes it impossible. 5) I need to run multiple campaigns at the same time - your site only allows one per month. Not sufficient for my purposes. 6) In the same time I had your services I found better influencers just being searching tik tok and instagram.

Not impressed and have canceled my account. Here's why- Creator's followers posted are NOT matching of their actual, creators are allowed to be on this platform UNVERIFIED and then they run off with your product and there is nothing that the brand can do or Social Cat will do, creators do not abide my the actual contract that they agree to, so it throws off a brand's campaign timeline. Overall, it's a great concept, but Social Cat's platform is ideal for scammers and non-serious creators that are never held accountable. Even after receiving a "discount" to come back as a brand after all of our complaints, we have chosen to stay away from Social Cat.

We understand the challenges you've faced with creator verification and adherence to contracts. As we shared with you before you accepted the offer you mentioned- there are many verified creators and we encouraged you to only use these creators (they are easily identifiable with the verified badges). If you were unhappy with what was offered to you, I wish you had told us instead of accepting so we could have helped you further! Thanks again for your feedback. We have now implemented mandatory verification based off this feedback for all new creators. This will, in time be for all creators but for now they are allowed on the platform as not all creators who are unverified are bad actors. Many have glowing reviews and many brands also have digital products or in person services where these accounts would be a great fit still whilst we make this transition. Not sure you happy at all. Horrible content. The creator made a video and says she received 4 packs. Then goes on to show the 4 unopened packs and then talks about the products as if she has tried them. Dude you have the closed packs in your hands. Now you are lying? I didn’t pay you lie about my product. I sent you a solution that could change your life and you signed up to try it and make content. UGC content is LOSING its value because people say anything. I’m not bribing people. I actually want them to try it. You are going to rep a product and tell people it’s good and be lying. LAME. Canceled after one month

Sadly, after sending product to five "creators" only two provided content, the other three simply disappeared without ever responding to follow-up inquiries. Can't say these results merit a monthly payment of any sort and we'd recommend steering clear of this platform.

Thank you for your feedback, Paul. I'm sorry to hear that your experience with the creators didn't meet your expectations. Unfortunately with the nature of gifted collabs, "in the wild" the percentage of creators who post content is 30%, whilst working on the platform significantly increases this- it's important to manage expectations. I'd always recommend only working with verified creators and checking all reviews on the creator's profile as 99% of the time in these cases, this will be a new creator struggling with understanding the process. Having said that, we do remove creators from the platform if they do behave in this manner, so please email us ASAP on hello@thesocialcat.com and we will remove these creators. Don't forget to check your account as they may well have posted the content for you since!

Only received from one out of five collaborators. Receive lots of spam bought accounts reaching out directly on Instagram wanting money second out of five collaborator keeps promising. Video still have not received it. Was a waste of product and a waste of time for a small business. You need to do a better job vetting the collaborators so lots of reviews on plenty of collaborators from businesses who experienced the same problems.

I was disappointed with my experience using social cat. The platform was not easy to use, did not seem to notify influencers well (many were unresponsive) and did not give me better results than just reaching out to influencers organically

SocialCat is a good service to connect with micro influencers who deliver paid or gifted UGC. Happy with the one influencer I engaged. Less happy with the caliber of people expressing interest in working with the brand - lots of interest from completely irrelevant influencers who seemingly don’t care who they partner with. I rate SocialCat 4/5 but I’m giving a 1/5 after being repeatedly bugged to leave a review. One email to request a review is fair enough, but two or three is pushing it.

TERRIBLE. The content creators either ghost you after taking your products or they produce low quality videos. And support team can't help you either. HIGHLY disappointed with paying for the subscription and also losing money on sending my products to the scammers. The 'content creators' are not vetted and nothing can be done once you send and lose the products. The so called contract provided on the website is also fake. No one adheres to the contract. Its a terrible platform. DO NOT GET SCAMMED!
