“⭐⭐⭐⭐ SocialCat has been a really helpful platform for discovering brand collaboration opportunities and building connections as a creator. I especially appreciate how frequently the platform refreshes social media metrics and how easy it is to create a clean media kit/profile directly within the app — that feature alone makes pitching brands much more streamlined and professional. That said, most of the opportunities tend to be gifted collaborations rather than paid, so I’d love to see more paid campaigns added over time as the platform grows. One feature I would also tweak is the email notification system. Right now, it still sends notifications even when the brand/customer was simply the last person to reply and the conversation has naturally ended, which can sometimes make it seem like there’s an unread action item when there really isn’t. Overall though, it’s a great resource for creators, especially those looking to grow their portfolio, connect with brands, and organize their creator presence in one place.”

“Generally speaking, I like Social Cat. There are a few things in the way that the website is set up that could be more user friendly, but you can count a navigate around them. Most importantly, the majority of the influencers that I worked with were very good. Only one person failed to do what they agreed to in the contract.”

“Social Cat is an exceptional platform for connecting with brands, and I use it daily due to its user-friendly interface. While it is excellent for finding collaborations, a crucial improvement would be adding a history log to track previous brand applications. Additionally, allowing creators to send a short pitch or creative idea during the application process would greatly increase success rates. Finally, a dedicated mobile app would make this platform perfect.”

“I used Social Cat for about 3 months. The people I ultimately worked with were pretty good. I will say that Social Cat might want to clean house, as in have everyone listed check in every 3 months or so. There were a lot of people I looked at who were no longer posting. I like that they sort of lead you through the process. I also like that they are a neutral third party through which things go, so you are not trying to run down the person after you have sent the product or whatever.”

“Not sure what results are expected. I was hopeful that collaborations with various influencers would bring in sales or greater interest in our products. All of the people I worked with were very nice and produced reels that they allow us to use. They also provided positive reviews which is all good. Perhaps I need to work with the longer to get greater results.”

“I was leery about relying on Social Cat to partner me with the right influencers to demo and promote my business. But I was wrong, granted I chose the first tier to get started, I was impressed. The influencers who love creating content go above and beyond. They take your suggestions, descriptions of your product or services and use their creative skills to truly enhance how people see your product or services. However, I do wish there were older influencers and more men to work with. I value the opportunity of working with a variety of people. This was truly the only issue I had.”

“The idea is great. However, as a software engineer turned e-comm owner, this platform as a software lacks a lot of stuff and testing. I am not talking about features, but feels to me they didn't test from the perspective of a user. I click invite all, 150 results are shown, only 26 gets invited. Or whatever that may be. No letting the user know why rest didn't get invites. Writing a message and accidentally clicked Edit Templates? Now you whole message is gone without any warning. Even using templates, I wasn't aware the name I put into my templates were shown to the creators... So I gave a name that I'd remember not what they'd see. Notifications are lacking. I was made aware hours after someone applied. Someone messages me, the inbox doesn't update immediately. There is no seen marker or not. There is no hiding away archived campaigns. Also, archived chats must be moved away from the All tab or some other active must be default. It is just unnecessary clutter. I don't know the creator side of things but there should be deadline reminders to ensure timely delivery. Search function seems to be keyword + AI mix. Not sure. I write ski or snowboard, some random creators show up. Maybe they skiied once, who knows. Follower counts aren't up to date. Engagement rates seems arbitrary or not updated, but who know, we can't confirm. Selected filters should appear above to ensure we are checking what we need. So that we can cancel without million line scroll-downs. I kinda understand the 48 hours replacement period but some creators will never work (not just unresponsive, maybe they are looking for something else, or maybe we sent a bulk invite and they happen to accept etc. and turns out not compatible and more). It has to be reduced. Replacing doesn't necessarily mean the creator is bad per se. Waiting for 48 hours is a waste of time. Despite all this, I gave 4 stars because there is an effort to support small brands like us in a quasi-affordable SaaS model. But they HAVE TO take the user's (the brands and perhaps the creators) side and test the user experience. At least they are responsive if you have to contact them.”

“Took me a couple of goes to get in to social cat but I’ve now created three extremely worthwhile campaigns for smaller brands who couldn’t have been more lovely. I think it’s a great platform because you can bid for opportunities which align with you and decline ones you aren’t interested in.”
