“Really wonderful marketplace to connect with small brands who understand and appreciate the power of mutual collaboration and content creation. I do wish more brands on the site would respond more reliably with the influencers, but I know that’s on the brand, not Social Cat. A couple of months in, I have only worked with 2 brands in the skincare and food industries. They have been phenomenal, and I wish more were like that!”

“I love the brands you guys have matched with me in the past but lately I have very few matches , I have been proposed only toddlers products or products which don’t have anything to do with what I write about”

“Great way of connecting with brands to receive products to review. Regular emails with a list of potential collaborations is really good. I've found that brands don't tend to confirm the process is complete on their side so I've received only a single review out of the 8 or so brands I've collaborated with. Some more advice on how to work with brands and expectations would be really good to receive from Social Cat as I joined up pretty blind! And some advice on how to enhance your engagement and tips on how to create the best content as a creator would be really good.”

“A great platform for a small business starting out and looking to get more eyes on their product or user-generated content to use in your own marketing campaigns. There's a range of different creators with different backgrounds/content types/follower numbers, and you get a lot of responses to ads which allow you to select the best creators for your products. At the moment, I feel like the product is still in the MVP stage. There are some features that need refining. I think a feature where you could pause your campaign and/or subscription, but still keep communication features open with the creators you're already collaborating with would be nice.”

“The communication back and forth and facilitation with individuals and brands is great. The only slight downside would be the tires of brands recommended tend to be a lot of the same types of things.”

If you are an influencer in the Fashion niche, most likely, you will get Fashion brands as recommendations. It would be good if you could revise your account and see if you can extend the criteria of what brands you can work with. “Seems like a great app. Annoying that you have to click into each and every campaign to see what the campaign is actually for. Additionally, it’s confusing what the brand expects you to post. It would be nice if that was more clear.”

“I like Social Kat, and had great communication, but I wish we could download the content straight to my device so we can post it as a reel or testimonial. Other than that, I have found most the collaborators to be great, and eager to create content and collab for our 4 month old startup. We're trying to create brand awareness so it has been an easy process to do so.”

“I received a lot of collaborators, so many that I did have to cancel the subscription because I couldn’t take on anymore collaborators at this time. Some of the collaborators did not post their content per our agreement but all others did. I also offered all collaborators a coupon code to receive a commission on any items purchased using their code. Unfortunately as of now, I have not gotten any sales from these collaborations. As a new brand, I know it takes time so I am giving them six months before I stop sending free items. In all, I think this a good way to connect with collaborators as it’s hard for a new brand to spend tons of money on advertising and costly content. It also cuts the time Id spend searching for collaborators and sending tons of unanswered DMs and emails. I would recommend that Social Cat adds an option to pay for a certain number of collaborators and if they want more, they can purchase another round. The monthly fee is not feasible once you have as many as you can take on, personally I cannot continue to pay $49 a month when I’m not using the service. Other than that, its helpful and I’d recommend for new brands/stores.”

“I have really enjoyed using social cat. I have made some great connections with brands and businesses. I would however like there to be some way to chase up brands that match with you and then never reply. Overall super helpful platform and don’t need to have 1000s of followers 👍🏼”
