“Great platform but they recently changed the search options for collabs and mine never seem to show without me clearing all filters. SC has some fab collabs and I’ve done two so far. I also used to get a daily email with all the opportunities but now it’s only once a week or so.”

“Interface is very easy to use and I like that they don’t send too many emails. I wish they had a bigger collection of brands, however. The amount tends to fluctuate.”

“I would have to say since I’ve joined social cat, I’ve had two people come in to get services And they were both very happy and left a great video on Instagram. the other two canceled last minute on their appointments, after I set aside, time to do their hour long appointment, it was a little disappointing. We haven’t had that many more people reach out to us, and we are in Austin, which is a major city.”

“Good website for connecting to people, however there are a couple bugs which makes it awkward to apply to brands. When on the main search page it shuts down mid application, so you need to go straight into the brands profile to apply There also should be a option where you can see all the profiles which you have already applied for. There also should be an option to filter the company niches & the countries.”

“Broadly had a positive experience - I like how you can set up contracts in the platform but I wish there was the option to change the deadline in contracts after signature if the influencer took a long time to sign and the deadline is no longer realistic. Also, the "prospects" aspect needs work - my brand only works with female influencers and UGC creators, and I've added this requirement to the platform but I keep getting suggested male influencers in my prospects and given you only get 50 prospects monthly it's a waste of prospects to get suggested creators that we're unable to work with and have asked the platform to only serve us female creators.”

“Hi there, So far things are going pretty well. Most of the partners have been wonderful. Would prefer to have an option available to chat with creators before accepting the collaboration. Am also having my first experience with what looks like will become a non-responsive creator. Social Cat would stand out by being able to meaningfully penalize creators who don't deliver after product has been sent out. Otherwise, the different between using SC and just searching on IG is less significant. Creators should be required to put up some form of payment that can be debited and delivered to the brand if they don't deliver the content (i.e. cause them to authorize you to charge their card for the product and at least give a percentage back to the harmed business). Without this protection, SC is instagram with limites on the amount of connections, but a slightly easier way to find partners who are willing to do a gift exchange. Thank you!”

“I love this app and the ability to try and promote a variety of products. The companies I have worked with have been great. My two areas for improvement is occasionally I accidentally press the “not the right fit” button and then it is gone forever. I wish there was an option to review the declined ones, similar to being able to look through your email trash in case you accidentally delete an email. I also don’t feel the app is learning from my choices. I am constantly asked about clothing, jewelry etc when I chose food as my main area of interest.”

“Social Cat is a fantastic website that connects small and emerging businesses with people who can create content. 5 Stars for the experience. 4 Stars due to price. I feel a good price point is $49 AUD per month. With the currency exchange into USD you are looking at about $75 AUD which is just over my price point.”

“Social Cat is an easy platform to use once you find your way around. It’s introduced me to one successful collaboration so far, I’m hopeful for more. The daily emails with details of brands looking for collabs is great, although for my niche of Home I’ve found few opportunities. There are plenty of opportunities for fashion, skincare and wellbeing. Uploading content from my collab was a little clunkie but it got there in the end.”

“Social cat has a lot of great opportunities/work from nano influencers to advance influencers. The customer service is great and informative and always have new job offerings everyday. My only con, is that I wish for more paid opportunities other than having to get 5star ratings. I work hard and put in so much time for me to get 4.8 rating or No rating at all. This is just a little frustrating.”

“I have had a few decent collabs from this app. However most of the businesses in here are either pending launch, the businesses have just opened or they are very small businesses. So if you are looking for your dream collab with a big name beauty brand…. I suggest trying another app.”
