“Overall - I really like the idea of the platfrom. It is great for small businesses but does require a lot of work on your end. So far, I have worked with a few amazing creators and a few who have yet to post (2 months later). You get what you pay for!”

We're working on improving some aspects of our product, but regarding the influencers posting late (2 months later), did you get a chance to report them? A reporting system on Social Cat is explicitly designed for this situation, where our team does all the heavy lifting for you. Unfortunately, if you don't report this type of situation, we're simply unaware of it, and we cannot help. Let's get in touch via email and see how we can help!

“I love your software. Great foundation to build and makes commutation easier. I do wish there is a better tracking mechanism of influencers contents. Take a look at Mighty Scout; if you guys can work together to combine features, it would be amazing. I also hope to see more dynamic content providers as you grow your network. Cheers.”

“So easy to use, but it might be good to have a specific space for what you need from the influencers (a certain number/type of post etc). Bit frustrating to trawl through the influencers as some don't even look at your socials so they're clearly not a good fit for the business and a lot of them have a feed full of AD posts, but it's a great start.”

“Can be good for connecting, how ever not all brands are responsive. Also I received a lot of suggestions irrelevant to my feed. I do think some brands ask a lot from a gifted collaboration.”

Hi Louise, Thanks for sharing this with fellow creators! We're working on improving the matchmaking system; please bear with us as this requires a lot of work. Regarding brands asking for too much out of a gifted collaboration, you can always flag this to us or even discuss it with the brand and let them know about it! Under no circumstance do we advise creators to accept work that they're not comfortable doing! Also, we're launching paid collaborations anytime soon, so we'll be able to transition to them for demanding brands!

“I love the idea of this app. I've gotten a few collaborations matched and finished already and I've only been on this site for two months. I do wish though that the algorithm would be a bit more precise with some of the brands I would like. I feel bad for rejecting so many and much rather prefer to accept more collaborations.”

“A quick and easy way to get matches from Social Cat. I have had 10+ collaboration, majority successful and friendly ones. The only issues is response to emails are hit and miss, but overall would recommend.”

Hi Bluebell, Thanks for sharing this; we appreciate the feedback. We read and replied to your email regarding some of the brands not getting back to influencers. I think this is more of an isolated case, as brands generally are active on the platform. Unfortunately, it's hard for us to control who brands decide to work with. The best we can do is to match you with potential brands and then wait for them to decide which collaboration to pursue. On a different note, we do have to work on our end to ensure engagement is higher and provide a better experience for the influencers. Please be patient, as product building takes time, and unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this type of challenge here, especially in this case, where we are a marketplace. “Really wonderful marketplace to connect with small brands who understand and appreciate the power of mutual collaboration and content creation. I do wish more brands on the site would respond more reliably with the influencers, but I know that’s on the brand, not Social Cat. A couple of months in, I have only worked with 2 brands in the skincare and food industries. They have been phenomenal, and I wish more were like that!”

“Great way of connecting with brands to receive products to review. Regular emails with a list of potential collaborations is really good. I've found that brands don't tend to confirm the process is complete on their side so I've received only a single review out of the 8 or so brands I've collaborated with. Some more advice on how to work with brands and expectations would be really good to receive from Social Cat as I joined up pretty blind! And some advice on how to enhance your engagement and tips on how to create the best content as a creator would be really good.”

“A great platform for a small business starting out and looking to get more eyes on their product or user-generated content to use in your own marketing campaigns. There's a range of different creators with different backgrounds/content types/follower numbers, and you get a lot of responses to ads which allow you to select the best creators for your products. At the moment, I feel like the product is still in the MVP stage. There are some features that need refining. I think a feature where you could pause your campaign and/or subscription, but still keep communication features open with the creators you're already collaborating with would be nice.”

If you are an influencer in the Fashion niche, most likely, you will get Fashion brands as recommendations. It would be good if you could revise your account and see if you can extend the criteria of what brands you can work with.
