“The product & price were spot on however I emailed them to tell them the delivery driver damaged my property whilst delivering to me and no one even bothered to reply. Very disappointing. Otherwise I’d have reviewed 5 star”

Hi Damian, Thank you for leaving the review, apologies you haven't received an email from us. We do have your email & photo from from 7th July, we forwarded this onto the haulier the same day who then in turn speaks to the delivery depot/driver for us. We're just waiting to hear back from Hastings Freight (I have actually chased this up for you today) and then we'll be in touch with yourself, I'll email you an acknowledgment to your email though for reference. “Generally good although the courier lost one of the bags of stone from my first delivery, which was later found and delivered the following day.”

“We were disappointed the bag was underweight by at least 150kg. We were offered a small refund but it did not cover the cost of having the buy smaller bags locally to finish our job, so we were out of pocket.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Dan. The refund of 20% of your paid price was given in relation to you saying that 140kg had been lost in transit, out of a 850kg bag this worked out at 20% so this is all we could offer as an apology. Apologies the local garden centre you bought the single bags from retailed at a higher cost.

“Excellent service. Ordering on line was simple & straight forward. Did ring The Stone & Garden company & spoke to a very knowledgeable receptionist. The multi-mix spar was delivered on agreed date by Palletways within a two hour slot. Drivers were very helpful.”

“The goods, and delivery process is fine. Just that when the pallet was delivered it wasn’t lifted high enough, and left scraped drag marks on the driveway & path outside my house. These haven’t washed away with rain either.”
