On the whole STone & Garden are good, the products are good and the price fair, BUT, this time the delivery process has been poor. The gravel did not show up on the day it was supposed to, not contact from the company or their delivery firm. I had to ring the following day to find out what was going on and get it sorted. Even then it didn't come that day and it wasn't until late the following day that it arrived. Two full days late - not impressed. I only hope they do better next time or this will be the last order I give them.

Stone and garden were fine to deal wit, straight forward and no fuss. The shipping company they use is a different story! First of all no contact was made by the courier's priory to the delivery date, only the initial invoice front Stone and Garden with an estimated date, no delivery turns up on the date, I contact the couriers to be told they don’t have any info on my order and I’m transferred to 3 different company’s before anyone knows anything about my order, and then promised it’ll be with me the following day AM. 5pm the next day nothing! In chase the couriers again to be told it’s on the wagon ready for deliver the next day Between 10-12……nothing once again. I have to chase them again for them to again have no order with my reference or post code, then transferred to 2 different people to be told they have my order and it’ll be with me the following day! Not holding my breath my order finally turns up 3 days late. Not sure what happened by Pallet plus was a joke to deal with. Product from supplier was great……. Delivery not so much.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review regards your recent order. Sorry that the UPN depot in your area let you down multiple times in failing to deliver on your requested delivery date. We do aim to make all of our deliveries on the desired delivery date, however, there can be occasions where this is affected by weather conditions, haulage delays and stock availability etc. We have already forwarded on your feedback to UPN who'll pass this onto the depot directly. We're glad however you're happy with Dove Grey delivered.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with,,Ordered some stone, on supposed day of delivery I got told the stones have been sent to a wrong depot because of error with the postcode and was told to pay £52.53 per bag reroute fee or get the order cancelled at £60 per bag,,so I just lost £120 for stones that were never delivered as they took the liberty of refunding my money less £120..I'm a landscaper and I have never came across this from companies that I have placed orders,,I should have seen the redlines from the bad reviews the company has

Morning, thank you for taking the time to leave a review regards your bulk bag order, we welcome feedback whether it be positive or negative. As advised on our phone calls and emails when the order for the x2 bulk bags was placed the shipping postcode entered by yourself at time of ordering did not match the 1st line of the address you wanted the delivery sending to. We are unable to check every single order we receive to ensure the 1st line of the address matches to the postcode entered. It was when the delivery depot was planning your delivery on the drivers route that they queried the 1st line of the address didn't match the postcode entered. The UPN delivery depot that services the NN18 postcode area does not service the NN2 postcode area as this is covered by a completely different delivery depot. UPN have the right to charge a re-route fee for onwards travel to get the goods to the correct depot. UPN nor ourselves were at fault for this address error so the charges given to us by UPN had to be passed onto yourself in order to get the goods re-routed to the correct depot who'd then be able to deliver to yourself. After a lengthy phone call with ourselves where you were refusing the pay the re-route charge (as this fee wasn't going to be waived by UPN or ourselves) then unfortunately there was no other option but to cancel your order and get the goods returned to us as the UPN depot wouldn't have kept these in their warehouse indefinitely. The return fee of £60 per bulk bag is a standard fee as set out in the order T&C's, again as we're charged per bag to return the goods; those fees were correct in being deducted from your refund owed. At the point of placing an orders online it is the customers responsibility to ensure that all contact and address details are correct, the return/re-delivery charges are listed in the T&C's that the customer must read and agree to prior to finalising the order. They're also listed on our website under https://www.stoneandgarden.co/terms-conditions and https://www.stoneandgarden.co/delivery-and-returns. It is highly important that the customer checks to ensure all details are correct at point of order; you also received an email confirming receipt of your order and also a couple of days later dispatch of your goods. Both emails include the billing and shipping addresses where you would have been able to notice the error and be able to contact us so we could before the goods left the UPN centralised hub have been corrected to the correct address at this point.

Apologies for the delay in being able to acknowledge this review Kate. Please note that your complaint I received regards the delivery driver not being able to use the pump truck trolley due to health issues was raised with UPN and forwarded to the delivery depot in question. All of our deliveries are made by a tail-lift vehicle and use of a pump truck trolley (whether this be manual or in some cases electric) it is down to the delivery depot to ensure that their drivers are fit & healthy to ensure a safe delivery given the weight of the goods. Apologies once again the delivery depot has given you a negative experience ordering with ourselves.

I ordered from this company after seeing them boast about their "excellent" reviews. I ordered some Scottish pebbles that were 80-120mm in size. Almost all of the stones were approx double this size when delivered. When i contacted them to discuss this i was asked to send them photos with a tape measure next to the "pebbles" which i did. I did not hand pick the bigger ones, i just grabbed the first 8, all of them were considerably bigger, some even double the quoted size. They sent me an email back explaining how measurements were taken and proceeded to explain how egg measurements can be different depending on the side you measure.....How helpful..... I called them back to discuss this further and explained that i now needed a second bag to ensure the membrane would be covered as this was now not going to work. The lady i spoke with was nice and polite but said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could give me 10% another order of smaller tones to try and compensate me (due to now needing an additional order, was going to use half here and half on another project) and they said no. They offered to collect the stones and refund me when received but this doesn't help when id taken annual leave to finish the project.

Brilliant service from start to finish! I ordered 3 bulk bags of 40mm slate online chose a delivery date and my order arrived perfectly on time. Could not fault the product either. I am very pleased with the whole experience of ordering online which can often be daunting.
