“Poor company that doesn't care about the customer journey. No communication with customers and blame staff and new processes for getting things wrong. Be aware - don't use this company, you will regret it.”

“I have used S&G in the past and I will continue to use them in future when the need arises The web site can be contrary when trying to place an order but just pick up the phone instead - the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.”

“Everything was very efficient until the transfer of the bulk sacks to the site. The pallet company was not geared up to move the sacks from the tail gate of their truck to the site and came with a simple hand pallet trolley which was not man enough for the job and had such small wheels they sank into the gravel on the drive. Luckily I was able to employ the good services of a local farmer who had a forklift tractor- otherwise the delivery would not have been able to take place and the first sack would have been stuck in the middle of my driveway.”

“Ordered the plum slate 40mm. Very reasonable price (£100 for 850kg) and delivered on time within 3 days. Bag a bit ripped at the bottom but it wasn't a problem. Very good quality slate - impressively purple and quite evenly sized. Not much, if any blue slate in there. All in all, very happy and would recommend.”

“Excellent company to deal with. I purchased a sample bag to check sizing before ordering which turned out to be very beneficial as we eventually chose a smaller size than the sample. The granite stones look great. Delivery arrived as promised and the driver was very helpful.”
