“Love the Pi Hut and it's one of the few sources I trust to be confident I am receiving genuine RPis. My only complaint would be postage. When I need a single Pico or Zero in a hurry and I'm paying getting on for 4 quid on a sub £20 order that's just too much, and there's nothing special about the delivery, it's just RM snail mail. In these days of free next day Amazon deliveries I think other retailers do need to improve their delivery offerings.”

“I ordered a new Raspberry Pi 500 for Christmas but a Raspberry Pi Keyboard / Hub arrived instead. I had to return this free of charge and after they had received it, a Pi 500 was sent to correct the mistake. But it made a disappointing Christmas present for my friend and an embarrassment for me when we couldn't figure out where to insert the mini HDMI cable! I requested a Raspberry Pi mouse (value 7.50) as compensation and this was declined.”

“Everything arrived with no issues and well packaged. However, the ability not to amend my order after placing it meant I paid £3 in postage more than I would’ve done (which on a small order is very frustrating). The reason given is that the turnaround is so fast but seeing as there was a bank holiday, I knew it would have to wait. My suggestion would be to ensure amendments are possible if it’s between the hours the office is closed and not possible whilst the office was open. Otherwise, I would give a 5* review.”

“Products all good. I want to support retailers other than amazon, like Pi Hut, but despatch and delivery times are slower and more costly, so if I need something tomorrow .. unfortunately its amazon.”

“Ordering was great shipping was quick also, but the biggest problem was the the delivery just left it outside my door unsecured.. fortunately I checked my emails which told me where it was before it went missing.”

“Haven’t tried the product yet but I know my son is going to love it as he told me he would as he handed the package over with all the branding on it which completely ruined the surprise. I appreciate branding is important but at this time of the year not the best.”

“Service and Postage swift and efficient. Not too sure about the packaging. The lead was folded into a small plastic envelope inside a jiffy bag, this meant the lead was folded over. Sometime during transit it looks like something heavy was placed on the package causing the lead to crease quite badly. Unfortunately I can't test the lead until after Christmas so can't tell if it has suffered damage.”

“I have used The PiHut a number of times this year and the products have been fine. However, the delivery of those items has a 3 star rating from me. The PiHut advertises that it does its best to dispatch the same day if orders are received before 2 pm and on a Monday if they are received at the weekend. My experience has been that they have more often than not failed to dispatch on the same day. Last week was no different. I ordered at the weekend and the item was dispatched on Tuesday, arriving on Friday. That brings me to my second point, the use of Royal Mail. The RM's service is patchy at best and it has recently received a fine for failure to maintain service levels. and this only adds the risk of further delay. I rarely have a need for next day delivery and if I did I would pay extra for a guarantee based on my experience.”

“I am happy with how the prodouct came and the speed at which it came however I am not happy with the lack of documentation provided by your company on what I ordered I had to find the relevant libraries and do the debugging myself when a zip library or a few links could have been very easily placed in your website. Companies like Adafruit excel because they know a good prodouct is one with lots of documentation and support”

“Product good and good price. However let down by very long delivery time. Whether this was slow sending or slow processing by Royal Mail is not clear. Why not use DPD or equivalent ?”

“My experience shopping on the website was good - the information for each product was concise and clear. However, I wish there was more correspondence regarding the status of my delivery. Being left in the dark about when it will arrive hasn't been pleasant.”

“Ordered the wrong item initially and wrote to Pi Hut to see if I could amend or cancel the order to order the correct item, I was told no as the order had been processed. Placed a second order for the correct item few days later received 1 parcel with both order items in it even though I paid for postage separately for the orders. Disappointed with the company as if both items were shipped at the same time then my order could have been amended, also waiting on a refund for the additional postage.”

“Arived within a couple of days works as worm drive not been able to fathem out how to program in C++ using microsoft Visual studio code yet lots of plugins loaded. Guess it`s easy for young minds to figger out.”

“I realise the pico2W is a very new device. However you could have warned your clientèle that the firmware for the micropython version was not fully ready and finding the most recent version would take some searching. Even then there are problems with this such as the on board LED cannot be accessed. You did send me a link to Raspberry Pi but their version had several important modules missing. Eventually I found that pimoroni had a version that more or less worked but that took some finding.”

“Products were great, just as ordered. The 3* review is only due to the shipping… this was supposed to be sent via Royal Mail; this was detailed on the order and on the invoice. The parts were actually sent via DPD! This meant taking time off work to wait in for the courier. DPD specify a day, but don’t give you a time slot until the morning of delivery, so you need to take the day off in anticipation. For Royal Mail, if I’m not in, they return it to their local office, leave me a card and I can pop round and pick it up (much better for me).”

“Goods arrived on very quickly and well packed 5 Stars. I opened steel case first took out all the screws to gain access but didn't check the sealed bag inside the box. Put my new Pi 5 in the box fits like a glove, added cooling fan, foutnd the 40 pin header extension all going well. Unpacked the new pi Amp+ installed on header ..all still going well..Put lid on box looked at my handy-work and thought...where are the speaker plugs? Looked more closely at the DAC board and realised that there are no speaker sockets for a speaker plug to plug into.....0 Stars....”
