“Hello! I recently received my RP5 8GB, although I had to pay an extra 27,96€ to get it delivered. The total amount was 94,45+27,96 = 122,41€ and without being able to use it, as it does not include a power supply. All this has disappointed me a lot, as I had trusted The Pi Hut. Regards.”

“I was SO excited when I got an email on 11/21 saying that my Pi5 had shipped! It hung around in the UK for a few days and then went to Germany on 11/26. Air freight must be too expensive for an item this heavy, so the Pi was forklifted onto a cargo ship apparently and arrived in the US on 12/2. Today the status is "exception" ATTEMPTED DELIVERY 08:10 AM LT, Kein Standort ausgewiesen, US. Who the hell is Kein Standort? And where is Ausgewiesen, US??? My name is Steve and I am in New Hampshire USA....”

“My RPi5 shipped DHL on Nov 21. and has still not arrived. So while shopping at the PiHut was a fine experience, I'll not be ordering from you again given the terrible shipping / delivery issue. 15 days and counting.”

“No packing in case, Pi and heat sink were rattling around in the box. Also had to endure being posted through letterbox to land on the floor with no cushioning. These items are fragile - all was needed was some bubble wrap or something similar.”

“I love the website and ease of ordering including the speed to deliver. Post sales service isn’t great, I had two items where the packaging was crushed and it wasn’t clear if the product was damaged. It’s a Christmas gift so not able to test myself. Response basically said I can invoke a refund down the line if needed but that’s very basic resolution (not really a resolution). Unfortunately I am not likely to order again from here as they’ve left me with the option of return now or only have a warrantee option later as Christmas is more than a month ahead and I was getting organised early with gifts. Come on pi hut, you can do better than this”

“The item I ordered, they did not notify me when it arrived, they left it “in front” of my door and it was in the bin, it rained and the box was damaged, so it was a gift and everything inside was damaged”

“Overall experience was okay, I'm only disappointed with the product I purchased. It was one of their Advent calendars. Expected something wow for 40 pounds, got parts worth maybe half of that (if even that much), no manual included, very disappointed. Only 12 boxes, so not typical advent calendar. Probably my last purchase from this shop.”

“Good shopping experience, terrible delivery experience. Paid duty and additional shipping fees for both shipments. I'm sorry but I believe this was my last order. I would love to get more stuff and perhaps a printed subscription but it's too much expensive.”

“it's taking an exceptionally long time for my order to arrive. It's taken 3 days to go from the UK to Germany so I don't know how many years it will take to arrive in the UK. I do feel sorry for the delivery person who's riding their bicycle to deliver it to me.”

“Disappointed Customer. Paid £9.99 DHL Express (next day, excluding weekends) Delivery service. Placed order after Noon but before close of business Monday, I anticipated PI would prioritise the delivery so it would arrive before Midday on the Wednesday. Parcel finally arrived 1610 hrs on the Wednesday afternoon. Not quite the delivery service I had anticipated or paid for, Jamie…”

“PiHut need to stop using Royal Mail. My order was placed on a Friday and was dispatched the same day by first class mail. It didn't arrive untill the following Tuesday. First Class is supposed to be next working day delivery. So why did it take four days”

“Prompt delivery but it was a pity a delicate circuit board (Pi Zero 2W) was packaged in a single thin jiffy bag which would barely protect it. If it fails at any point I'll know who's to blame. Needs more robust packaging which I'd be willing to pay for (although to be honest the amount paid for postage was more than enough for much better packaging so Pi Hut are clearly making profit on that too)”
