“Really great site and I am very happy with all the bits I've ordered to get started with some electronics. Only issue was a wrong resistor was sent with the breadboard kit I ordered, but the support section of the website is excellent and I was able to raise an issue to get things sorted really easily.”

“Finally got my Pi, 19 days after I ordered it. I guess shipping from UK-US + holiday delays probably not the fastest. That's the only complain I had; otherwise, the product came and everything seems to work as expected. Thanks PiHut!”

“The way in which PiHut conducts its online retail business is a shining example of how to do it right. A clean website, a rapid checkout, great communication about the order, and exceptionally quick delivery times. One small issue I had after ordering a Raspberry Pi (RPi) was that I wanted to buy some accessories. There was no option to amend the order so I created a new order with the RPi in addition to the accessories but then I tried to cancel the initial order and I found that was not possible either. I understand that this policy is probably why the rest of the operation runs as smoothly as it does and that changing it would probably increase costs/delays so I can’t really recommend an alternative other to let you know that I was very mildly inconvenienced by it. Otherwise a fantastic shopping experience.”

“Great shopping experience. I ordered from the US and still felt like the delivery was fairly prompt. DHL doesn't provide very good updates unless you subscribe, but that's on them more than The Pi Hut. I wish I had paid more attention and it had been called out more that the Raspberry Pi power cable would have been UK-only for the one I selected. I would have ordered a cable to go along with it, but instead had to use Amazon to get a power cable so I could use the device. In the end, would recommend Pi Hut for Raspberry Pi, esp. the Pi Hole edition.”

“Si5351 break-out board. Fine, speedy delivery. Only snag is software, the recommended example sketch doesn't run as it comes back from compile with a missing file error. If you install the library Adafruit_IO it then compiles ok.... because it contains the missing I2C stuff..... other libraries are available that run fine with this board of course. I'm using this board for a ham radio project, and it's cheaper than having a crystal cut...”

“I had an issue with my very first order, but this isn't down to The Pi Hut - at least as far as I can determine. Specifically, I ordered this in plenty of time for a Friday delivery (just after 2:30 pm on Wednesday) but the order wasn't shipped until Friday, so I was never going to get it in time, despite selecting - and paying for - next-day delivery. To be fair to The Pi Shop, I received an immediate refund of the carriage charge - thank you - but I'm still annoyed that DHL used the Royal Mail postal strikes, which (so far) finished on the 24th of December, yet this order should have been collected on the 5th January.”

“My order turned up really fast and everything was packed with care and in fantastic condition but unfortunately I have an issue with the UPS hat as it’s not powering the pi zero(item has no signed of damage or bad solder joints). This is the first issue I know of and my family love the PiHut and we’ve had multiple purchases all in pristine condition. I would certainly recommend them and I’m even putting together a lot of kit for my next project (waiting on PiZero 2 to come back into stock) while waiting for the support team to get back to me. I have only just reported the issue last night but the process is easy. 👍🏻”

“The layout is clean, and buying stuff is easy, but it would be great if you add a ''items you might need'' section. You may for example need to buy a heatsink if you plan to perform heavy tasks on your Raspberry Pi. It would also be great to have a prediction for when an item will be back in stock. (if possible)”

“Quality product (1.2in Adafruit LED matrix/backpack) despatched rapidly and well packed BUT why oh why no included assembly instructions? It would be so simple to include the info which I eventually tracked down on the Adafruit website after I had spoilt my first order?!”

“Great service. Dispatched the next day, (I ordered it okay a bank holiday) and the product arrived in good condition. The only reason I dropped a star was because of the packaging. It was a small product, but it arrived in a little bag plastic bag inside padded A5 envelope. It arrived fine, but I would have liked to see a small box at least. The product worked great, was easy to use with Adafruit RTClib, and was as described by the seller. Overall, great service, good product. Would purchase from this store again.”

“Arrived quickly. Contents matched description. however the micro sd card was only 10gb not 16gb, the OS was very old and took a long time to update. I would have preferred a wireless mouse, they are not expensive are they? So I had to buy one because my desk space is small and wires cables etc are messy. other than that I am. very happy.”
