“Good choice selection and good overall process but the payment links/options didn't work well for me. Both Paypal & credit card option (using 2 different ones which were either VISA or Mastercard as required) didn't work. In the end the amazon option worked. Hence 4/5 star And got a speedy delivery too! Was expecting to get the goods on Monday but DHL decided to stop by on Sunday to deliver!”

“Found the product I wanted, ordering was very simple and straightforward. Paid extra for a next-day delivery service because I wanted the products within a couple of days. Only when checking the delivery status it was clear that the process was let down by the courier. When contacting the support staff it was quickly resolved and the goods arrived the following day. Cannot fault the Pi Hut good service at a reasonable price”

“It was my son’s first order online, he got a bit anxious because it didn’t arrive in the 3 days stated however I had to explain him that it might take longer. He got it in a week and is a happy boy with his order. Many thanks”

“Got most of what I needed,apart from one item. I wanted to place the order quickly to get it in the post, so asking on the portal was going to be too slow to get a response. The USB->Serial adaptors were very short (approx 20cm). I've checked again and yes it's buried in the View more>specification, but not to see.”

“Prices, Products and Delivery (by Royal Mail & NOT Evri/Hermes thank goodness!) all good. I was worried that having paid using Mastercard, I then received messages from PayPal confirming my purchase. To check if this was OK, I tried calling the PiHut but only got their answerphone. Left a message but no one ever called back. Not the best customer service and so it's just 4 Stars and not 5.”

“I like PiHut, good range of products and reasonably priced. I appreciate the compatibility list that comes next to each product as a beginner. My only gripe would be product availability, and I know this is more to do with the popularity of the pi boards and upstream production, but it is annoying when you want to start a project but can’t get a board. The notify me button does alleviate this somewhat. I’m happy I was able to get a Christmas tree this year after missing out on them and pumpkins at Halloween last time round. Overall I have a good experience with PiHut, if they had stock all the time I would spend dangerous amounts of money on that site.”

“I got the advent calendar, quite a nice adventure to try out micro python and play with the Pico board. The guides are easy to follow, I have only completed a couple of days so far but the contents are good (although some feel a bit breakable like for example it's quite hard to unplug USB from the board but feel like if I pull to hard it might come off in pieces). But I have to say so far it feels like good value for money :)”

“Out of the box, I saw I had something that I could work with. The added standoff fit perfectly and can still access the pins below. The labeling of the terminals and screw terminal made connection easy. With the leds already on the board testing, GPIO with a program is easy. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with a pin-out card. Once the wires are attached it's difficult to see the labeling. I would recommend this to anyone who has a PI 4 and is looking for a solid connection to peripherals.”

“Excellent website, Quick and effective postage. However, the part I originally went to order was a £1 part with £2.99 postage, weighed about 10grams… so I went looking for what else I could get to bulk out the order and make the postage more worthwhile, stumbling across the Advent calendar. I am glad I did, it’s been great fun so far, putting theory into practice and full of bits n pieces that I wouldn’t have though to order! So I’m not sour about the postage anymore, as although the order was split between two packages, both were earlier than expected, despite the advent calendar being on back-order. I’ll be back here for sure.”

“I ordered the product for Christmas and haven't opened it yet. Order and delivery process went quick and with no problems. Although the product was unavailable for a long time (about 2 months), I asked for notification on my email once its on sale and ordered it as soon as the email arrived. In general I was happy with the service.”
