“I ordered a Raspberry Pi 4 b, case and PSU. They arrived really quickly. This would be my fifth PI, I made the mistake of not ordering the micro HDMI connectors. I've just booted the PI up with the default OS and all seems good so far. I needed to modify the case so it didn't bend the PCB but that has been the only issue so far...”

“I ordered a screw-terminal shield for an Arduino Uno. I was in a hurry, so I was pleased that it arrived within 24 hours of ordering and, unlike some products, fitted the Arduino headers perfectly. I have only one difficulty with the product, which is that the pillars supplied are of a design I do not have in stock: they have a female M3 thread at one end and a fine male thread of smaller diameter at the other end, which I have not been able to identify. Using the screws provided, it is possible to fix the shield to the Arduino as in the instructions, but there is then no provision for mounting the Arduino on a piece of Veroboard or other PCB: the pillars cannot be screwed together to provide the needed stand-off, so, even if four extra pillars were provided of the same type, it would not solve the problem. I had to find long M3 screws and replace the supplied pillars with eight pieces of hex brass, drilled through at 3.1mm. An extra four pillars should be provided with each unit, and all the pillars should have the same thread at both ends, so that they nest. Since one of the pillars , when fitted as in the instructions, comes so close to a black plastic header that it is impossible to thread an M3 nut on it, it may be preferable to standardize on M2.5 or some imperial equivalent, if that is not possible because of the USA. Please could somebody at Pi Hut take a look at these pillars and , in future, supply eight nesting pillars, as I suggest . It took me an hour to turn what I needed on the lathe from hex section brass rod. The shield is not cheap, and I expected it to come with everything needed to mount the Arduino to a PCB with the shield mounted on top of it.”

“Very efficient ordering and delivery process. Ordered Tuesday afternoon, arrived Friday lunch. Way better than some of the competition where I've been fobbed off with excuses. Won't be making that mistake again, I'll stick with Pi Hut Only niggle (and it's a minor one) is that the casing comes disassembled with no instructions. Not super complex but some online guidance would be perfect”

“I always get my Pi kit from The PiHut. Lovely site, and easy to use. Loses a point only because the product pages don't have a proper breadcrumb to filter down to a category after a search. This would make finding everything for a particular purpose SO much easier - most other sites have working breadcrumbs.”

“Order arrived quickly, good quality, as described. I'm not giving 5 stars because of the continued stock issues. I see you can buy the 4 as a starter kit but not on its own. I think the website needs the component compatibility redone. I was put off buying extra components as I wasn't sure they would fit my Pi. The Pi zero is great for getting a better understanding of computers.”

“I order two separate components for the first time and you obviously never know what you're going to get. I ordered first class and was expecting them the next day but it was actually two days. But, once they arrived I ordered something else and again that was spot on by normal mail. As far as I can tell, both components are working perfectly fine so yeah, at this point it looks like I've found myself a good little online resource for components! Please. :)”
