“Very quick delivery. The Waveshare PoE hat works a treat albeit a little noisy. It fits nicely inside official Raspberry Pi 4 case, but I've drilled holes in the top of the case to help vent the Pi. Unfortunately the documentation is virtually non-existent.”

“Ordered Raspberry Pi model 3A+ case and it arrived promptly and in good condition. There was too much packaging for the tiny order and cardboard was difficult to open (not a complaint, just an observation).”

“Delivery was super fast and checkout was quick and easy. My only issue was with not receiving a ‘back in stock’ email and I was just lucky to check the item randomly and it was in stock”

“I think The Pi Hut is a great website, reliable and good prices. The only small problem is, for the price of shipping I would like if it was tracked and it was also slow. Although I have been asked to make this review I still have not received my product.”

“The packaging was a bit excesive, with an enormous cardboard box for an arduino nano, a couple antennas, and an small dial. Everything else was great though!”

“A great site for a Raspberry Pi project builder. If you could bring your delivery charges down a little I would order more as I currently use Amazon for the low cost lightweight items as they give free delivery. I don't like paying £2.50 delivery for something that only costs a few pounds and weighs just a few grams.”

“Shopping and order is simple and clean. Nice site, easy to choose options and very clear descriptions. Fulfilment is frustrating. You dispatched very quickly, but package sat in DHL Frankfurt for a week before being handed over to local delivery. Then stopped by customs in Ireland as no VAT charged. If you ship to Ireland you should clear this up in advance like other online retailers. Recommend you ditch DHL and manage up-front VAT collection for EU countries.”

“Couldn't get the actual version of the RaspberryPi that I wanted but settled for one with less memory. Hopefully, in time the one I want will become available. I understand that there is a chip shortage at present which I guess is the reason why I had to settle for the one I got. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate. The item was dispatched that evening and was delivered by Royal Mail the next working day. Not really sure why any would want to pay the higher delivery charge if Royal Mail can do it that quick! As the higher delivery costs option excludes weekend delivery!”

“All packaged well and arrived quickly a day after order placed. I would have liked to see a description of the items on each packet as well as the product code. For example I will need to label up the packets of leds and potentiometers that I purchased with their voltage and resistance values so I don't get them mixed up with others that I have.”

“The pihut delivered as expected. However, and to be fair to the shop they didn't indicate otherwise. I got hit by a 50% customs charge for importing into Europe from the UK. Would be better if the custom charges were included at checkout instead of having to pay the delivery company on arrival. So whilst the prices and service were good, if I had known what the customs charges would have been I could have done a fairer comparison with other suppliers in the EU. For buying in the UK, these guys would be great”

“My order, a 2GB Raspberry Pi, arrived finally after some ambiguous shipping updates (better than nothing I suppose). The shipping and product boxes look like they fell off the truck a few times. This is my first Raspberry Pi, so I have no idea what to look for damage wise. Hopefully, the unit works with no issues. Should know in a couple of weeks when my college course gets to that particular lab. Otherwise, I appreciate that ThePiHut had stock available and for a relatively reasonable price.”

“Order arrive quicker than expect so pleased with the service. Unfortunately the Flirc case didn't allow the micro hdmi connector to fully push home to make the connection. Be OK for a headless setup but doesn't work if you want to connect your pi to a monitor. Also you have to fully disassemble the case to access and change the memory card. A cutout slot on the end of the case would have solved that.”
