“Had some bad experience in the past with dodgy products but customer service were always fantastic in dealing with it and replacing parts if required.”

“Quick and simple order process. The only negative for me is around the sites search function. I wanted to see what range of enclosures / cases you sold importantly not ones designed for a RPI you have to search through all manner of random stuff to see what you offer”

“Fast delivery, everything as expected. Only problem: Brexit brought unexpected silly amount of import taxes to ROI. In fairness, it is not something the Pi Hut can have any hand on, but will likely turn me off buying in the future: any competitor Pi shop from CEE results in noticeably cheaper price.”

“The delivery of the product from ordering was very quick and the shopping experience was fantastic. The kit is good, however there are a couple of things to be aware of when buying: The length of the controller cables are quite small and not suited to most modern set ups. Although this adds to the nostalgia of having to sit so close to the console, I'm slightly too old for it now. I would recommend also buying two USB extender cables. The PI gets very hot when running retropie and the kit does not contain a fan. It is an absolute must purchase to keep it from burning out. I had intended having multiple SD cards for different things that I can switch in and out (like one running retropie and another running raspbian). The case makes it very hard to remove the SD card without taking it apart, so is not a case I would recommend. I resolved it by using a larger SD card and using PINN to side boot instead. Overall its a good kit, although it might be best to buy it all separately so you can get a better case. I have massively enjoyed playing about with the PI and will definitely be using The Pi Hut again for buying add ons.”

“Vertical Dual SSD NAS Bracket for Raspberry Pi As described, almost, with prompt dispatch and delivery. Well done. However there is a problem with assembly of the kit. The two holes in the base of the drive caddie are oversized and not threaded. The provided screws are too small and too short so even if the caddie holes were threaded they were no use! The instruction sheet shows 10 screws provided, all th same length which are fine for the SSD drives but of no use at all for the assembly of the stand itself. I cannot believe that such a silly basis problem had not been identified before and should therefore have been corrected. Sending out poorly prepared products does not help establishing and maintaining a good reputation with the general public. Not everyone would be prepared or possibly able to work around this silly error. Please can you look into this and sort it out instead of continuing to send out existing stock containing this production error. I had to go out and buy a pack of self tapping screws to finish assembly which was annoying as I am disabled and it's very inconvenient having to make unplanned trips. Once assembly was accomplished I can recommend the product. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment.”
