“The audiologist recommended the glue ear headset for our daughter (age 3). The delivery itself was really fast which was great. The headset is fantastic and the sound is really clear - the only thing is as she is still quite small the headset is quite big for her and heavy so she doesn’t find it very comfortable to wear. But we’re hoping we can find a way for her to use it more to help her hearing. Overall would shop here again though.”

“Well, I bought an RPi5, a plastic box, PSU and a cooling fan. First point, I didn't know ther was a fan in the plastic box - not well advertised. Also not pointed out clearly is the fact that the HDMI soclest are the super mini size. No adaptor cable offer was made with it on the website. Also, no indication of good SDRAM cards was given. I think I must have bought slow ones. Further, setting up was / is remarkably difficult compared with any of the earlier RPis, I have had them all. And... good stuff is coming folks, but and... the out of the box setting of headless access via ssh and VNC was extraordinarilly slow. I think this was something to do with the fact I set start up conditions in the card formatter. Password did not stick ! OK, now the good bits - it is quicker eventually !”

“Reviews are a bit problematic for me. If you got the product to me in good time, in good condition and not too expensivelly, that is what I expect from suppliers. You did all that. “Selecting and purchasing the items we're straight forward. I did expect a free delivery based on second class postage, but that was not an option. Delivery was by either 1st class or express. Having chosen the former I was extremely pleased to receive the items first thing the next day. This is not the usual fare I can tell you. Well done!”

“Good stuff from Pi Hut and I expect to be doing more business with them. One request would be to have spec and data sheets for all the items available. For example the 5mm LED/photransistor pair sensor is internally connected in common emmitter mode (would rather have common collector) but it didnt say this at the point of sale.”

“Very comprehensive and complete selection of RPi components, accessories, etc. Fast and reliable delivery. The frist "go to" place for RPi shopping. Ideas for improvement: - It's very confusing to select the compnents that match (cases, drives, hats, etc). I think a configurator of some sort would be very desirable, when I start with the purpose I am shopping for (generic RPi, RPi with a camera, etc) and then compatible selections follow: (1) board, (2) case, (3) hat(s), and so on... And we end up with a complete hardware configuration in the basket. And we are sure we have everything we need. - Otherwise, a compatibility cross-check for components would be useful. - For given set/selection of items, it would be nice to get all the manuals linked in the email for the order, possibly including some tutorials for installation, configuration, and so on.”

“I was bought a Raspberry Pi Pico advent calendar for in December2023 and that was a good first, introduction to Micro comtrollers. I have then used the Pico and the Liquid Crystal display from the Advent Calendar ,with relays and reed switches (sourced from others) to automate one track on my model railway. The Pico randomly selects the route the model train takes and randomly stops the train at various stations. I have now purchased a second Pico and LCD display (from the Pi Hut) to automate a second track. The second LCD I purchased from ther Pi Hut was from a different manufacturer than the one supplied with the advent calender and it took me a little while to realise the different software and commands required to control the second LCD ( I2C) device. I still have some optimisation to do on the first model railway track and will then automate a second track. I use the LCD to show the various steps the Pico is running as it helps me understand what the Pico program is doing allowing me to debug my program. I did take me a while to start to understand Micro Python and Thonny; but I am pleasantly suprised in what I , a retired person, can achieve in 3 months. Why did I buy from the Pi Hut; the price seemed competative with others and they did deliver on time”

“The purchase was well packed and left Pi Hut promptly on its way to the US. A pity that DHL was the carrier, as after two days in the UK they shipped it by road to Germany and eventually 11 days after it shipped it arrived in the USA. Perhaps the post would have been quicker, at least it would have avoided a road journey to Germany.”

“Great item at a resalable price. Superfamily delivery. Only lost one star as I think.that the pi board should be better secured inside its packaging. Circuit boards are quite delicate after all. Will definitely be buying from them again in the future. Thanks again.”

“I created an account so I could buy an M5Stack Atom Echo to use as a smart speaker for Home Assistant. Ordering was straighforward & the device arrived as expected for the Royal Mail 1st Class untracked option I chose. However, the shipping options are rather pricey compared to many other online retailers these days.”

“Website well set out, the filters on offer might be more extensive but everything needed for projects in one place, and easy to order. Had a look at other sites when "shopping" and found everything in the PIHut that I was looking for, and also assured that they are Raspberry PI compatible.. Order come via Royal Mail, it was a fast and efficient delivery. Happily reuse.”
