“Jamie, I've received the items I ordered, basically a Raspberry Pi 5 and associated kit. Everything turned up on time, it was well packed, and arrived in excellent condition. I am new to the Raspberry Pi, and was surprised at the quality and variety of equipment, and additional kit available for it, from the PiHut. I was pleased at the service I received. And hope to do business in the future. Unfortunately, I couldn't give five stars, as I was confused by a support question I submitted regarding the RPi5. The question was - - I've got a few keyboards, but I like yours for the RPi (with the extra USB ports). But on your site it shows your keyboards are only for RPi3B and RPi4B (no RPi5). Surely that can't be the case (especially as the keyboard seems to be in your full starter kit)? Please clarify. (I now know this kit is 'The Desktop Kit'). The reply was, to the effect that (I apologise, for not quoting the precise reply, as if I go back to that email, to copy it, I will lose this reply itself again apologies) we do not supply a keyboard compatible with the RPi5. I now have to ask is there is something unique about the RPi5 keyboard requirements? Regards, Ron P.S. I will be doing more business with you in future.”

“I think that with the hats and shields is to write what is exactly compatible with (what boards). And how does it connect to the CPU board or other controller boards? For example: can I use an enclosure with certain shields? Can I use a certain thermal cooling system with what enclosures etc? The purchaser (me) is left guessing. When using a shield or hat can an enclosure be used? if I use a particular cooling system can I use a shield or hat? Basically, what are the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing an item concerning other peripherals that you sell?”

“I purchased a Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ which arrived exceptionally quickly, was simple to install and appears to work perfectly. If I have one very minor quibble it is that the screws for the spacers could have been a couple of mm longer, so that they could be used to attach the spacers to the (standard) case through the holes in the board, but as it doesn't affect performance in any way, it's a very minor detail.”

“I am a regular customer with PiHut. I love how you guys deliver quickly and on point, and the packaging is minimal. One recommendation I have is that I would like to be able to choose the day of delivery. The delivery was on time, but at an inconvenient time, so I wasn't able to get it from Royal Mail until a week later.”

“Good communication and updates, arrived quickly by royal mail and everything looks correct and in working order, although I haven't yet tested it all. Something that bugs me when ordering components like these and is the same across all suppliers like The Pi Hut, is everything comes individually wrapped in plastic pouches. Is there not a solution to store these in bulk and then wrap them up safely in one bag per order, or do they come like this from the upstream suppliers?”

“Fast delivery times and good packaging, only downside was an item i bought was £20 here but £8.50 elsewhere, only bought it as part of a larger order as it made more sense with postage but dont understand why it was over 2x the price on Pi Hut”
