“Very Dissapointed with Pi 5. Who ever want's to use a compiter with NO AUDO! I write programs that play music and NO AUDIO. What is happening to our world? This question was asked by a founder of the most popular computer and by me. So 2 very important and infuential. What do I know? The sound in the New Pi 5 is well hidden and only available through the HDMI. My monitor does not have speakers so sound is denied me because I can not afford the latest tech. An OAP is soundless because I prefer to eat and stay warm rather than spend a commodity that is in very short supply on a play thing.”

“Ordering with the Pi Hut was fine. They have the Flirc cases which in my view are great. Accidentally ordered an extra case. Would have been good for the system to flag this, or for it to be easier to view the quantity number.”

“Good e-commerce website, up to date, easy to use, stock availability was good. Great information and easy to find what you need. I bought a pi3 model A+ and a 32mb memory card with Pi Os pre installed. Extremely easy to get up and running but every time I try to run Firefox or Chrome it hangs. I’ve updated the 32bit preinstalled os to 64bit as I read that helps. Also noticed the supplied micro sdram was class 1 which is very slow and cheap. I’d recommend buying your own fast memory chip and installing 64bit. I have done this but the pi3 is unable to run a browser. I may try to use it as console only (no gui) and install pihole dns to avoid advertisements and tracking on my home network.”

“I have ordered 2 different parts and got confirmation, but in parcell was only one. Frankly I will manage without the one not being sent and great was that you very fast sent me refund for lacking one and it's great. Re”

“I'm located in the United States and the shipping did not take as nearly as long as I expected so that was great. However, the notebook I received was not a new one. It had pages ripped out and notes already written in it. I didn't realize the error until I had gifted it. The recipient still gladly accepted it”

“Arrived quickly. Unfortunately didn't come with much in the way of instructions. Tried to connect via SSH only to find that this isn't possible without some further config. So not quite as plug and play as advertised.”

“The service from Pi Hut was great. Everything I ordered arrived in good time, was well packaged and was great value. All but one of the items in the order worked perfectly, unfortunatly, the mini OLED display does not work with the Raspberry Pi Pico. It is very strange, it works perfectly with a Raspberry Pi Model B which I tried it with and other i2c devices work fine with the Pico. Not sure what the problem is as a trivial program to detect the presence of a i2c device fails to find it.”

“Although others were able to get this put together and gave it a 5 star review, I found the most important nut and bolts too small making setup take forever and downright awful. If you have large fingers and low patience, I would suggest an alternative case. I almost gave up and never did all the nut and bolts on. As a result, wasn't able to get the back plate on but it basically functions as required without it. Also, I am in the US and had to wait almost four weeks for this to be delivered. Not sure what happened with that process.”

“This was my first purchase through The PiHut, and I'm a bit dissapointed in the overall function of the raspberry pi5. I don't mind waiting a longer period of time for delivery if the product received lives up to all the reviews, but so far it hasn't. I've look at the store products that are exciting, but I'm hesitent to go further.”

“Orderded a "Raspberry Pi Zero 2 Starter Kit" to look to testing a B:E beacon using room assistant, befor ordering some more for other rooms (yes I know 1 si is not useful :)) It arived promptly the next day. all good so far. When i tried to installl the OS I started to ahve issues it ust dindt work. After mcuh searching, playing, trying i reallsied the isue I had ordered the "Zerro 2" Kit, but the device included in th package was an older Pi Zero V1.1) and not the V2, so could not recognise the 64-bit OS I was trying to install.a OK, I can use the V1.1, but i had ordered and paid for the V2. I created a ticket saying i am happy to keep it, but wanted something doing". I got a response within a day. Very sorry, we have refudned the price difference and the P&P costs Ok, mistakes happen. But it is how you dal with mistakes that define you. Pi Hut made a mistake, held their hands up when it was pointed out to them, got on with sorting it out, and did sort it out with the minimum of fuss or effort on my side. So cannot relly give any more than 3 *s - yes the issue handing was good, but the wrong item was sent”
