I ordered the products Pi3, Zero and accessory on the 08.12.2020 and still hasn't arrived in the 4-8 days delivery to Spain. Have sent emails still no update. if the products was sent with DHL etc would of been here as with other companies have sent and arrived on time, they was sent with normal postal service, this was a Christmas present for my children, i understand Covid-19 and Christmas but to not get an update from the carrier in a week? i will write a review on the products once they have been delivered. thanks Update 07.01.2021 refund given without notice or speaking with customers, they are stating cant deliver to my address with DHL which i have sent proof twice you can and no response to my emails, only response today via facebook, the same DHL cant deliver which they can!! take my order to Amazon which haven't had any issues with!!! so much for supporting local and smaller companies

Defective design. I was very excited to get this product and was absolutely sure I was going to love it. However, am I the only one who actually tried to USE this thing? How does it have a 4.5 star rating? Both of the aluminum pieces are warped. I don't even know how that can happen. They look milled (tool marks) but I guess they could possibly be cast. Neither would explain warping. I'm at a total loss. The "Accessible Ports" are just not accessible at all. The ribbon cable for the PiCam BARELY fits through the access hole to the port if you're careful about putting the case on as far to one side as you can, but you still can't get it in the port itself because you can't access the port's retention clip . You can access one side of it with a pair of needle-nose mini pliers so you can work the clip on one side, but you have to work it on both sides to get the camera's ribbon cable into the port and you can't even SEE the other side of the retention clip. I fought for 30 minutes and couldn't get it into the port. I think it's possible that you could mount the cable before assembling the case but you will have to plan ahead. You can't fit a DuPont connector onto any of the PoE hat pins because the access hole has rounded corners and isn't big enough. Unlike the PiCam port, there is no planning around this. They simply won't fit. It's the same for the GPIO pins on the P1 header. A few people pointed out that you need an extender to use a pHAT, because it's obvious from looking at it that the heatsink would be in the way. But that's not the real problem. Did any of them actually try it? You can't put a standard 40-pin IDC connector on the P1 header because the corners are rounded AND the slot in the heatsink isn't even wide enough in the first place! I can manage to get DuPont wires onto the P1 header at pins 1&2 and at 39&40 so it's possible that there are working options out there, but you'll want to MEASURE your pHAT extender solution to make sure it fits first. Surely you would never want to fight DuPont wire or Schmartboard wires to connect to a pHAT or a Pi Cobbler. The MicroSD slot is perfectly accessible, but holy cow, the card sticks right out the end of the case. The most fragile part of this whole rig and the "case" doesn't protect it at all. One of the corner mounts is about 1/2 mm away from the USB power port. I don't know if this is really a problem or not but it sure makes me nervous. If QA for the Pi4 was lax enough to allow this port to be crooked, we'd have a problem. If the QA for the Aluminum Armour was lax enough to allow a burr on the corner to protrude 1/2 mm out, we'd have a problem. If I'm not careful and I allow any conductive debris to get in that corner, I'll have a problem. I can only conclude that all of the design team, the product team, the PiHut team and all 311 of the customers who reviewed this before me did not even try to connect to any of these ports and turn on the Pi at all. On the more petty side, the thermal transfer pads are not the right size and not as shown in the instructions. Furthermore, the instructions say it will come with extra pads. It didn't. They actually cheaped out on the cheapest part of this product. Given that you will likely have to disassemble this to access some of the ports, the missing thermal pads are not a benign oversight. Cons: - GPIO port: Unusable - Camera port: Nearly unusable - PoE port: Unusable - MicroSD port: unprotected - Thermal pads: Incorrect size - Thermal pads: extras not supplied - Manufacturing quality: 3/5 - Easy to assemble but you will have to disassemble it to access ports and you won't have more thermal pads to put it back together. Pros: - I love the color. - I love the added weight. It makes me wish I could continue using this product. - I did not detect any electrical grounds (earth) on the case when it was assembled. Neutral: - It *might* do a fair job of passive cooling but I'll never know. If I could use the product, I would test this. Understandably, the delivery took 35 days from order to receive it. That's 30 days in delivery. This has no bearing on my star review but thought I'd point it out for other buyers just to help them plan their purchases. It was shipped overseas from UK to USA during the holidays during a pandemic, so no criticism there. My issue is with this product, not with PiHut. I will buy from PiHut again.

Ordered at the beginning of January and after a month I still haven't received my order nor I have an update on the delivery. Contacted your support team and still waiting for an updated delivery day. The shopping experience on the website was good but I may need to cancel it after all if I don't get my order by the 5th January.

There is nothing good about your company to write, because of the time and energy wasted, just trying to get a simple order that I payed for ship to my address.

Unfortunately I never received my items. This was an international delivery with a delivery time of between 4 to 8 days. I waited 14 days before returning to the UK but nothing arrived. I had an idea that this was going to happen when, after 5 days, I got an email saying my order had been dispatched. I raised my concerns with The PiHut but got a vague response. This was unfortunate because I've had excellent service from The PiHut with same/next day despatch and very fast delivery.

To be honest the product arrived reasonably quickly but was faulty, on return of the item it became clear at an early stage that a refund was not an option from the pi hut and an outstanding balance of £29.16 is still over due, as a supplier of raspberry products the service has left a nasty taste in my mouth as they have made no attempt to refund the outstanding amount therefore I find myself unable to recommend this supplier of raspberry products, any future purchases of raspberry products will be made using a bona fide company such as RS COMPONENTS

Have no idea as this is a Xmas present for someone elsewhere and of course not yet opened. You are premature in asking for reactions, but my present one is IRRITATION !!!

I bought the touch screen and case for the PI. Excellent product BUT it arrived with no instructions. The does not make it easy to get help so it is left on your own to go and find the answers. They don't even respond to emails. I am sorry that I gave them my money, I wish I bought from elsewhere.

Would not recommend at all. Tried a multitude of Retropie images, updated EEPROM, used different Pi4B's, changed Retroflag case. Tried everything. But just does not boot. I'm sure it's fine if you have the right SSD/image, but there's no recommended list anywhere on the site. I regret buying this and have wasted £30.

The raspberry pi that I ordered never arrived. To be fair to PiHut I didn't choose the tracked shipping option as Royal Mail has never lost any packages of mine before. I emailed PiHut to inform them that my order never arrived but as I didn't choose a tracked shipping option they were not able to help me. I have since ordered another Pi from an Amazon seller (trying not to support Amazon) but didn't want to order and pay for another item that simply disappears.

As far as the delivery it was great. However the Pi keeps dropping WiFi, I can’t really do any work on it. I’m extremely disappointed. I’m not even able to use it. My laptop and computer work fine on the same WiFi on the same desk. Tovi
