“Items arrived within a few days. The OLED display took a while for me to get it to work (hence 4 stars). However, in the end, I managed to utilise the code referenced, in the beer brewing resource section. Specifically by using the python code: PicoOLED1point3spi.py, referenced in section 3:- you can temporarily uncomment the code at the bottom, to see how it works. I tried using library functions using I2C, but it didn't work. This was most likely because I needed to modify a resistor on the component, which I didn't fancy doing. And I couldn't find any instructions on how to do it anyway. Still it works well with the python module referenced above.”

“Website was very easy to navigate. I was kept informed of my delivery which arrived the next day. Outer packaging was a bit battered but contents seemed OK. Helpful staff when I made an enquiry. Will order again.”

“Ive used the raspis as media servers for a long time and am pleased with their performance using the osmc software, however with the move to the mini hdmi output i cant get the pi to output a good enough signal to drive over a 15m hdmi run when the prevIous generations have managed without issue. No other concerns with my purchase though”

“Arrived on time. Sound quality is fantastic. (DSP DAC) Easily competes with equipment 5x the price. I have used this as a standalone unit and I would have appreciated a line in the datasheet stating, 'to use as a standalone unit connect to 1&2 on p3' This would save alot of time googling.”

“I ordered the Maker advent calendar for my nephew. Since, it's a Christmas gift, it hasn't been opened. Although the shopping experience with The PiHut was smooth. The website was easy to follow and prices are reasonable. Improvement points: Quite a few of the more popular items were sold out and delivery was a little slow compared to some comparable websites. I wasn't in a rush for this gift so it didn't make a difference and there was updated tracking at every stage. Overall, I'm pleased with the service.”

“It’s a pity stock on some items is zero. Building pi projects for me is unpredictable, never knowing everything I might need at the start. Postage is always a consideration when ordering small quantities and even then I often see an item that I would order but you are out of stock. I then turn to an alternative supplier that can provide everything I need.”

“I cannot comment on the quality of the product as it is a present for my son-in-law, at his request. However, my daughter and I have been extremely pleased to receive the item already as we had been given to understand that it would not be available until after the New Year. I am happy to gratify his desire for this item at Christmas, the traditional time for new toys!”

“I like shopping with the Pi Hut. However, I don't like paying for delivery - and, this unfortunately is why sometimes I have to take my business elsewhere to get what I need. This especially applies when buying cheap items like the Pi Pico and it's accessories. With that said, the order process is easy and once you go past certain amount the shipping is free. It is just worth nothing that there are other vendors who have free delivery on everything (CPC for example is where I had to order my Pi Pico).”
