“This is our second OBC bed . The first is so fabulous and all our guests rave about it. This time we went for a super king and it’s just as good (huge improvement from another brand frame) we’ve used the same mattress. Easy to erect just need two people - one to hold and one to turn alum key etc”

“The bed took a bit longer to be delivered than l had anticipated. But once it arrived in the country, it was delivered Immediately by friendly, efficient couriers. Really pleased with the bed. Easy to assemble, good quality frame and excellent mattress.”

“Perfect. The website description and pictures reflected style and colour of the bed frame correctly. Delivery was as arranged. The bed frame was packed with appropriate materials to keep it safe in transit. Building the frame was straightforward and easy. It’s clearly been designed well and with a long life expectancy. Now we’ve had the bed up and in use for a few weeks, we can confirm it is robust, well finished and will last us many years. Brilliant!”

“My red bed looks amazing- I need a room and bedding update to go with it. Construction is sturdy and it went together easily. The under bed drawers are great - lots of storage and smooth open and close.”

“Had one myself for 20 years and still as sturdy as when I bought it. Just bought one for my daughter for her new flat. Really good quality and looks far, far more expensive than it costs. I’d only ever buy a bed from The Original Bed Company”

“We love this bed. It's simple and sturdy, was easy to put up and looks fabulous. We especially like the fact that there is a choice of two levels. We have very little storage in our house so having it at the higher level means that we can store a lot in under-bed boxes (although we may have to provide a small set of steps for our elderly cats!)”

“We recently bought a very substantial king - sized double bed from your company. Simplicity itself to assemble - and once on show in all its glory - stunningly beautiful and sturdy too - especially the big brass knobs on each corner ! They clinched it for us ! And this is the second bed of this design we have bought - so good products seal repeat orders ! (And we are already planning to order another ) (And we did not have any queries - everything self-explanatory).”

“Have used this company before because of the quality of the product. Cheaper options only serve to highlight the difference between these robust, craftsman made bed and their cheap counterparts. The level of service is second to none as well. Overall this company and its products stand head and shoulders above the rest. If you're looking for a bedstead that is made to last, then look no further.”
