“Great company, well made thick gauge steel beds. I especially like the fact that there’s no need for a middle leg due to the gauge of the steel and the fact that the spat supports are made of the same steel and welded on to the bed frame. Recommend. 2nd bed from them.”

“Today I received my Hamilton Chromo Low Footend iron. It was a seamless process with great communication from them. It came in time frame promised (actually sooner) even though I ordered a bespoke size it was earlier than discussed and delivered on an agreed day when I could take receipt, within a 3 hour slot and a phone call when the courier was within 1 hour away. The courier service they use is also first class, with just as great communication. The bed was exceptionally well packaged, obvious care is taken that it doesn't get damaged in transit (took me as long to upack as it did to assemble 🤣). Instructions for assembly are clear and uncomplicated to follow. I assembled this myself in a couple of hours. First impressions are this is an excellent manufactured product, of the highest quality all round - very solid and sturdy! I would highly recommend the company and the product. Keep up the good work!”

“The Original Bed Company have an excellent range of beds to suit all tastes, the website is easy to navigate and the information for each bed is well presented and comprehensive. Ordering and payment is easy. The bed arrived on time and in good condition. The assembly instructions were straight forward and assembly easy provided you have read and digested the instructions. The finished bed was of excellent quality, very strong and a lovely gloss finish. I am very pleased with my bed and would recommend The Original Bed Company to anyone.”

“I purchased an iron bed from The Original Bed Company and it was delivered within the stated time scale and in good condition. I found the bed to be of excellent quality and easy to assemble. Unfortunately I had made an error in making my order but the Company resolved the issue without any fuss an with no inconvenience to myself by making a special order on my behalf. I will certainly be purchasing any bed I require in the future, from this company. I have never come across such excellent customer service. It also uses a good delivery company, one I have never heard of.”

“Good height for underbed storage, easy to clean under matress when matress is removed, should have a you tube instrucction video please, squeaks but not over the top, mostly on entering, its so high a footstool would help to enter if you arent tall. Classic style which is always on trend.”

“Very happy to have found a supplier ready to provide replacement for the main bed part including tha base frame and slats at a very resonable price (£120). Admittedly, assembling it all reminded us of past wrestlings with IKEA furniture. But we eventually succeeded. Only one problem. One of the connection pieces did not line up exactly with its intended screw-holes. But it was good enough for us to sleep on it for sevral weeks. At this point, the other problem emerged, namely very noisy squeaking and minor rattling as we moved or got. in or out of bed. BUT, just yesterday, we solved those issues by very firm tightening with the requisite Allen key of the four connections between base and bed heads. So, now, all happily resolved!”

“The bed is of a sturdy construct, and finished to a high standard. And speaking as a retired engineer I feel that the metal side rails could have an uplift fitted maybe 2” inches to stop mattress movement when sitting on the side, but never the less a great product, I would buy another without hesitation, I hope my comments are passed on to the design team. Robert.”

“After a very short time deciding I chose the Timolin iron/metal single bed with a Juno firm Pocket Sprung Mattress and have been having the best nights sleep for several years! Very many thanks and it only took my son and I just over 1 hour to put together! Highly recommend The Original Bed Company and my choice of bed and mattress for a good nights sleep!”
