“This company was a joy to deal with. E mails answered promptly & nothing too much trouble. As a bonus the beds are well made & look absolutely lovely in the room.Delivery was excellent. Would highly recommend .”

“Good website, very straightforward, though I knew which model I was looking for as I'd slept on it in holiday cottage! Good communication from OBC (and good bordering on aggresive😄 from the carrier - l was contacted at almost every inch of the way regarding parking, accessibility and delivery). Bed was in perfect condition due to very secure packaging. Easy to construct and looks lovely in our guest room.”

“I ordered a Marbella Slim Upholstered Bed. Several Issues: 1. Fabric shades are not what they appear on website 2. Order came without instructions to assemble, and missing screws 3. We waited to figure out what was missing. Once identified, they shipped additional pieces and a video for assembly 4 It took two of 3 hours to assemble the bed. Looks nice but shakes when we move and sadly the upholstered back is just velcro attached on to the wood. You kind of see the white velcro from up top. So for the price I paid, this was a total waste.”

“This is the second bed I have received from the company. The first was excellent but this one was very poor.. Instructions were very poor and it was difficult (if not nearly impossible) to put together. The finished article squeaks even though all the screws and bolts are tight. I wouldn’t risk ordering another.”

“Excellent and well made product. Relatively easy to assemble and very stable when completed (Don't rush it, take your time). The delivery window was well worth the wait. The packaging of the product was exceptional. Will be purchasing another soon.”

“We bought a Virginia bedstead in 2009 and recently noticed some issues with the slat supports (and on a cosmetic note, tarnishing of the brass knobs). I contacted the Original Bed Company without any great expectations as the purchase was 15 years ago. However, I was pleasantly surprised as the customer service was excellent. The slat issue was fixed and I was able to purchase replacement knobs. The bed is now in good condition again and will easily last another 15 years. If we need to buy another bed we will definitely be considering one from the Original Bed Company.”

“The Original Bed Company not only has wonderful quality products but also fantastic customer service. They offered helpful advise over the phone and via email and custom made the twin beds’ headboards and footboards to the size we needed for the room. They are beautifully made and easy to build. I highly recommend this fantastic company.”

“I don't usually write reviews like this- however, this time- I'm impresssed. A brilliant bed. I am so happy with it. Service was superb and fuss free. Assembly involved usual swearing, but worth it. A very happy customer”
