“We have previously had a cast iron bed, but that was bought some 30 plus years ago, so we thought we were reverting to similar. How wrong we were! The OBC beds are unbelievably solid. They have obviously been made for today's larger customers. Our old bedframe also had individual bowed slats to insert but after a couple of screws was built. The OBC beds are easy enough to put together but so cleverly designed. We were going to keep the divan in our other bedroom, but just as soon as that is decorated, we will be getting another OBC frame and possibly one of their mattresses as well. Couldn't fault the delightful delivery men who were a pleasure. The bed itself is a beautiful, solid piece of engineering. The only problem is that the frame will likely outlive us!”

“I ordered two Solomon beds with mattresses for my holiday chalet recently and I’m absolutely delighted with them. The bed frames are solid and well made and the mattresses super comfy. Brilliant company to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again!!”

“I’m very impressed with the original bed company, they have been very good to deal with. My only comment would be it would have been nice to have a bit more feed back and conformation of the order details as well as updates on awaiting delivery as there’s a long wait. The wait is well worth it! Superb products both the bed and mattress. The bed is stunning to look at, and so comfortable. Stunning quality, very heavy. Worth every penny! I can’t recommend it enough. Mine was delivered to the bedroom and assembled, the guy was wonderful. Highly recommended.”

“Just taken delivery of our second Orlginal bed and very happy indeed. The delivery guys were so efficient and polite and kept excellent time, a rare quality now it seems. We are so impressed with the quality of the beds and mattresses and would always recommend the company to anyone. Staff are helpful and a pleasure to deal with...many thanks.”

“I purchased the Juna Cotton medoum double mattress early August. I knew exactly what I wanted as friends highly recommended this to me. Customer service in the King's Road shop was excellent and mattress delivered within a week. Delivery was spot on with excellent communication from courier company. Put mattress in place. This mattress is made of high quality materials, very comfortable and a very affordable price. Highly recommend this mattress. 5 stars to Customer service, delivery and quality.”

“I love the Juno Cotton. I got rid of my old mattress last year and went for one of the super expensive Hybrid Luxe Simba mattresses hoping it would be good for my bad back. Worst mattress ever, it crippled me affected my girlfriend who doesn't even have back issues. Returned it and wanted to go back to a traditional pocket sprung mattress with no foam. Found The Original Bed Co and got their Juno Cotton and had it for a month now and it's so much better than the Simba. This is a really lovely mattresses and I hope this lasts for many years as it's fantastic and I love it and am sleeping much better.”

“Bought 2 bedframes about a year ago. The standard of workmanship is brilliant. I can honestly say they are the best beds we've had. The delivery was great and they were really well packaged, good job as we didn't put them up for about 3 months. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would buy again and recommend without hesitation. Thankyou.”

“I ordered my bed on Sun 30 July and it arrived the next Saturday along with 2 kindly guys who were certainly needed as the mattress and frame were quite heavy but I see that as a sign of quality and once built, the bed is solid. I like the way the screws to put the bed together are already located in the places they should go which helps avoid mistakes in building the bed. Initially, I thought there was a pack missing with all the nuts and bolts in it so was pleased to find them in the frame. I am very pleased with my new bed, it's firm, strong, comfortable and looks good, Chris”

“The bed is nice and a good price, however, we had to contact the company and get new slats as they were all rotten and in horrible shape. But they did send a replacement set promptly and they were fine.”
