“This is our second purchase from OBC. The beds are sturdy,well made and easy to assemble. The only minor issue is that the wooden slats are a little rough and splintery in places and need to be rubbed down with sandpaper. We are pleased with our bed and would recommend this company.”

“Great service, they were able to deliver from stock in just a few days. The bed is very well made and straightforward to assemble. It is rock solid, looks great, and the mattress is super comfy. I was glad I paid for the delivery guys to bring bed upstairs at it is heavy.”

“Ironically, I viewed my London flat only once, but went to the King's Road OBC showroom three times. Helpful staff, bed size as advertised, well-made, easy to construct, useful to be able to chose two mattress heights at assembly, UK-made OBC mattress (medium is plenty firm enough for a slim couple) very comfortable, bedstead well-finished and solid with no squeaks or rattles on vigorous peri-sleep exercise regimen. Happy to recommend 5*.”

“Excellent purchase. I love the simplicity of this design and the option of two heights. It doesn’t creak with every movement and feels solid throughout. And moving from a double to a single gives me two directions in which to roll onto the floor if I have a restless night 🤪 … just kidding; I’ve slept well in this bed.”

“I needed a replacement piece for the base of my OBC bed (c. 15years old) and had the replace the whole base, but the design (no more plastic slat holders) is much better but… trying to get it ordered took 4 days of me chasing which was frustrating as my bed was broken and I wanted to fix it ASAP. This seemed unnecessary process to take my order! But delivery was quick and assembly easy.”

“Great bed very well made and sturdy. This is our fourth metal bedframe from the Original Bed Company. The packaging was absolutely filthy which made unwrapping the bed frame inside our home very difficult.”

“Hi - I recently purchased a new King size bed and mattress. I went to the London store to review both in person, which I was pleased to do (as had a day out in London), but the bed was much as described in the literature. The bed was easy to assemble and the matress fitted beautifully. I am very happy with my purchases.”

“Very happy with my new bed, looks great, feels very solid and the mattress is really comfortable. I spent ages looking for a bed and frame made with natural fibres and this fulfilled that requirement for a reasonable price. Also no more backache!”

“This is our fourth OBC bed and our previous experience led us to purchase this one for our own use. We are delighted with both the experience of dealing with OBC and the quality. The only reason that I have downgraded to four stars is that what appeared to be rust from the inside, fell on the brand new carpet and left a mark. This is something that needs to be addressed before the bed leaves the factory.”

“Every time I have needed to approach this company for help, or whatever, they have been excellent. They replaced broken parts free of charge (albeit small parts) even when well out of warranty and when these parts were not available anymore (my bed is 20+ years old and still going strong), I had to buy a replacement base. The cost was less than I would have thought and the service and delivery were perfect. I can't praise this company enough and will definitely buy from them again when I have to replace.”
