“I was suprised to see hardly anyone actually had stock of the Weber Barbecue I went for. Old Railway Line had it, and delivered it promptly. Would have given 5 star, but felt the need to chase delivery on the day as there were no updates. Upon chasing it was about an hour later anyway so had clearly been on its way.”

“The order was quickly dealt with & a concern re delivery was well handled. Plants well packed. Looked in good condition. However, we're not entirely sure they're all the variety of shrub we were expecting. 3 of them are too Green & Yellow, not Green & Cream as we wanted.”

“My order arrived quickly, although the box was somewhat damaged and partly open although nothing missing, they took time and care to ensure the plants would not be damaged in transit in the way the packed the order. An email to say it had been dispatched would have been nice, but not necessarily needed. I will order from this company again”

“I had 6 Kettler Siena chairs delivered on time but one of the chairs legs were badly damaged in transit(in fact on closer inspection another chair leg was slightly damaged also). I say in transit because the end caps had been scraped off, in addition to the scrape damage, but the delivery driver and I found two of the three caps. I telephoned your office and spoke to Graham who has arranged a replacement to be provided by Kettler from their next delivery, due on 12th April. My rating assumes that the chair is replaced soon after the Kettler delivery arrives.”

“Plants were top quality and arrived very quickly, great email updates. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t packaged with so much plastic and polystyrene. Saying that I think there was no way the plants could have arrived damaged! Thankyou.”

“The delivery contained a lot of polystyrene packaging which is disappointing. I understand it’s not bought new for postage, rather it’s re-used, but now I’ve got almost a bin liner of plastic rubbish from the one delivery of four plants. The box the plants were sent in was too short, so the tallest plant had its leaves folded over to fit. Every leaf on this large plant has damage, and it’ll be at least a year if not longer before they have been replaced by the plant. It’s such a shame after the efforts to grow it so big and beautiful. I’m sure it was immaculate in the garden centre! Conclusion; Healthy plants and good pricing, however, online delivery processes need refining so plants arrive to customer as happy as they leave garden centre. I would buy from The Old Railway GC again.”
