Company should offer larger size as most wood too small,burns quickly. The palette delivery is not suitable for rural areas as very difficult to move from roadside. Too much plastic packaging alongside palette and also are the nets recyclable ??

I was recommended to TLWC, but sadly was disappointed with the quality of the logs as they were not consistent in size, were dirty and had moss on them. a week later I was breaking the pallet down and found the answer a bright red 'B' on the lower corner! I ordered and paid for the standard or 'A' pallet. However, the delivery service was excellent.

Ordering online is easy. However the delivery system let's the system down in my area. No one contacted me to arrange delivery. A driver arrived at 1730. He was helpful but is was fortunate I was at home as there is nowhere to leave a delivery. I shall think twice before ordering again.

While there was absolutely nothing wrong about the quality of the wood & other products purchased with "The Luxury Wood Company"; they were very well wrapped and in full. The delivery got lots to be desired, while I have a drive, the lorry driver left the goods on the road, saying that he couldn't get the pallet up the drive, other delivery drivers have managed pallet loads of wood up the drive and in front of the woodsheds, but not this one! This meant that both myself & my wife had to decant this wood into builders flexi-tubs to move this tonne of wood up the drive and into my woodsheds; I couldn't leave this in the middle of the road overnight, so came home from work to do this job in the pouring rain, needless to say, the wood is now damp.

The only luxury is the price. The delivery driver was very helpful. I started transferring the wood right away to my store as it was a lovely sunny day. When I unloaded the pallet to my wood store I had to wear a dust mask as there was so much wood dust on the logs. When I got to the middle of the stack the wood was damp and had fungus growing on it. This may have been due to the top of the plastic cover being torn and ripped, but that was not obvious when I received the palet. I guess you get what you pay for. Next year I will be back to my usual supplier. A bit more expensive but much better quality.

Thought I would try a different supplier from my usual WHITE HORSE ENERGY but very disappointed. Logs really small and many more not much bigger than kindling. The free gift was welcomed but kindling again extremely small. No issue with free lighters though.

This is my second delivery of oak logs however, the second delivery doesn’t seem to be the same quality. I have now reached the middle section of the pallet and have found that a lot of the logs are just over 6” or 15.5 cm in length and some real thin logs. Description was for 25 cm long logs. Disappointed as it appears the small logs are being camouflaged in the middle section of the large pallet. Really disappointed as the first delivery was excellent quality.

Waited in, delivery was three days late, logs were dirty covered with saw dust. Many were cut so thin they just burned like tinder.

90% of the time to kiln dried wood is outstanding! The very best available. On one occasion however, the wood I received was black with mould. the extent of this was not obvious until The damaged pallet was opened. I was disappointed to only receive a token partial refund. especially as I have purchased many, many crates from them in the past. The wood was not suitable to bring inside the house therefore was effectively worthless!

My 7th load of 70 bags of ASH was very disappointing. Far too much small section wood. The majority of the sections are under 70mm dia. some even smaller. R. Bliss

This is the third time I've ordered from the company and have generally been quite satisfied. The order is well packed for transport so even when it rains the logs do not get wet. The logs are dry and burn very well. I am this time disappointed, because some of the logs were so large they did not fit in my domestic log burner - 8" across is just too big (see photo). There were about a dozen such oversized logs.

Bought a grade b kiln dryer Oak crate. Really poor quality. Ok I would expect dry mould on the outside and small and odd shaped logs. But this crate was awful the moisture content was over 20% and in my opinion shouldn’t be sold as wood that could be used. I will have to dry this for a year at least. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed with this pallet load, lots of small pieces of wood which cannot be described as a log. Having had two previous deliveries which were excellent this load not worth the money. Will have to think twice before placing another order. The luxury wood company is not how I would describe my latest experience

I bought a large sack of dry kiln logs for my log burner last year and they were great and so did the same again this year in December 2 weeks before Christmas. However it immediately became clear that something was different with the new batch of logs as they just weren’t burning properly. They were smoking, not catching and I needed to repeatedly use more fire lighters to keep the logs burning. The response from luxury wood was to buy from amazon a gadget that measures the mosture in the logs at my expense to make sure the moisture was correct. I did this at a cost of £12 and was on the phone with the company for 40 minutes a week before Christmas. They explained that the moisture content was good and so there must be an issue with my log burner. I explained my burner was not the issue - the logs were the issue. After spending so much time trying to sort out the issue including asking to have the logs collected and refunded ( told not possible unless I personally packaged up all the logs myself) and paid delivery fees I gave up. I will use the logs with lots of fire lighters but won’t use this company again for my logs unfortunately.

The wood supplied is of a good standard, the cost is high but I find their customer interface lacking.

Wood is good, delivery was an ordeal - admittedly our drive is a little awkward being on a slope, but I won’t be ordering a large pallet again as we spent over an hour ferrying logs
