“Junior mattress Firstly I want to say that we have used LGS since my son was born, moses/snuzpod/twist. I love their ethos and quality. This review is specifically for the junior mattress for a single bed. It is just so firm that it feels hard. There is none of the feeling of "snuggling up" in bed, instead you feel like you are perched on top. I know this is probably personal preference but it is just uncomfortable. It's a shame, but I regret the purchase and just hope that it will soften up considerably with use. However as with all LGS products you can tell it is good quality, but for us this one was not a hit.”

“All LGS products we have ordered (mattresses, sheets and protectors for both of our two daughters have been excellent quality. The waterproof protector in particular is a marvel and even saved the mattress from a tsunami of vomit (sorry) when eldest was ill. A problem with one of the mattresses was resolved very quickly and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommended by this often grumpy dad.”

“It's a great mattress! We already had a Moses basket mattress and a cot mattress from Little Green Sheep, and wanted to get a bigger mattress to put on the floor so that the baby could crawl off in the mornings and play with his toys (as suggested in a few Montessori guides). We've had it for a few months now, and we're very happy with it. Just be sure to check that you're putting it down on the right side, as the coconut coil side (which is meant to be on the bottom) is quite hard.”

“I ordered enough to qualify for free delivery so decided to make my order direct with the website rather than go to John Lewis who had a slightly better discount on the same items. I stayed in the following day, Friday, and nothing arrived. I contacted customer support the following day, Saturday, but offices were closed. On Monday I had a response from ‘Ben’ via email to say my delivery was out today. I wasn’t going to be home. I told him that service was poor, the delivery was supposed to have arrived Friday. Ben was useless and simply told me delivery was out and there was no possible discount or compensation he could offer for having wasted my time. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. He said he would keep me posted but I then had to call two days later to check a refund was being processed as he decided to ghost me. I’m shocked Ben is ‘Head of Customer Services’ as I found his emails to be very curt. He wasn’t helpful or apologetic and I certainly won’t order from here again in future as you can’t trust their delivery schedule.”

“Disappointed overall. I live in spain and contacted the company before ordering a mattress to find out any duty fees that we may incur. They responded to this saying they didn’t know and it wasn’t their responsibility which isn’t the experience I’ve had with other sellers who factor the duty into the price or at least know about it. We risked it and ordered the mattress which cost £85 (plus £13 delivery!) and we were shocked to be told by DHL that the duty fee was 40€.! I contacted little green sheep to say we hadn’t accepted the duty fee and requested an immediate return of them item, unfortunately we didn’t hear from them in a week despite being over Christmas they had 2 working days before the holidays to respond. We were surprised to then see the courier turn up at our door and demand the 40€ duty fee … not happy at all and the response from little green sheep is a 10% partial refund. Very dissatisfied as we would never have ordered if we’d known the duty fee and should’ve been allowed to return it on the day we were informed of the duty fee by the courier”

“Quick easy checkout and delivery, little one definitely looks my comfortable in the pram and seems less sweaty! Product of course has an odour when it first arrived but after airing out like the instructions advise it doesn’t smell at all anymore!”

“I was disappointed to discover, after it had arrived with my daughter, that the playmat is just the mat - the only available pictures showed it with some soft mat toys which I had assumed came with it. It was sent directly to my daughter as a present. It's an extremely expensive item considering that is all it is - didn't leave me feeling good as a customer - it would seem ok to show it in use with toys as long as you show other pictures of it alone.”

“The product itself is lovely although for the money I was hoping the presentation and packaging would be better. It arrived just alone in a paper bag with no protection and a suede tie which had left grey bits all over the navy blanket. So that part could be a more premium experience as it isn’t a cheap blanket but the blanket itself is really lovely and a great quality product.”

“Not only have I not received my item but keep being told that it's at my local post office. I have been down to the post office twice and have been told that they have no record of it and don't deal with Parcelforce who it was apparently sent with. A total shambles and particularly frustrating as I haven't been given a refund, can not get hold of the item and am 9 months pregnant and expected to traipse around London sorting out their delivery issues”
