I ordered enough to qualify for free delivery so decided to make my order direct with the website rather than go to John Lewis who had a slightly better discount on the same items. I stayed in the following day, Friday, and nothing arrived. I contacted customer support the following day, Saturday, but offices were closed. On Monday I had a response from ‘Ben’ via email to say my delivery was out today. I wasn’t going to be home. I told him that service was poor, the delivery was supposed to have arrived Friday. Ben was useless and simply told me delivery was out and there was no possible discount or compensation he could offer for having wasted my time. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. He said he would keep me posted but I then had to call two days later to check a refund was being processed as he decided to ghost me. I’m shocked Ben is ‘Head of Customer Services’ as I found his emails to be very curt. He wasn’t helpful or apologetic and I certainly won’t order from here again in future as you can’t trust their delivery schedule.
