“Bought an item. Nowhere on the website did it say that they do not do international delivery. So I paid for item. Now I wrote to enquire and they said that they cannot send to Malta and that I will receive a refund within TEN WORKING DAYS. SHAME IN THIS DAY AND AGE. Besides they said they emailed me twice to let me know but I did not receive any emails. So it’s not true that they sent email.”
“I had ordered a personalised gift and paid an extra £8.79 for express delivery where it stated that item would be processed in 1-3 working days. item has not arrived and when i called to enquire i was informed that the item actually gets sent somewhere else to get personalised so the wait time it actually 2 weeks.
i do not feel this was clear on the website and i would not have ordered and paid for express delivery if i was aware of this. When speaking to the person on the phone i asked that because the item has not been dispatched yet would i be able to have a refund before it was sent out. i was informed that no i have to wait 2 weeks on item arriving before sending back. i feel this could have been handled better.”
“This was the first time I had ordered anything from the Gift Experience. I ordered a clock with an engraving but unfortunately I had not included '60th' in that engraving. I asked for this to be changed to include the latter and received an email almost immediately advising me that it was too late to include the requested change. Taking into consideration the time when I placed the order to when I submitted the change request was literally minutes it was hardly customer service as I would have expected.”

“Very good and very bad at the same time!
Ordered an item on March 4th and it was delivered on March 7th, so from that perspective, all is fine.
However, I never received an order confirmation, nor did I receive a notification to say that the item had shipped. As a result of this, the gift I ordered (for a friend) was delivered without my knowledge and left in a "safe place" that neither my friend or I were aware of.
The item is excellent, so if The Gift Experience improved their communication, I would have given 5 stars”
