“The product itself was as expected - very tasty. However, the delivery service (via FedEx) was very poor. The level of communication and the availability of information was almost non-existent. Thankfully, the product was very well packed/insulated, with very little melting (from the ice packs) evident at the time of delivery.”

“Delivery was good as usual . However the quality of the Tuna was very bad this time. Out of 3 times I ordered fish only once everything was ok. The first time salmon was bad , tuna was good. Second time all good. Third time the crab was ok but the Tuna was bad. Too inconsistent”

“Portion very small, Croute very dry and bland Delivery driver also just threw box over my gate even though I had answered the door and was waiting for it to open. He didn’t wait for gate to open fully and drove off after flinging parcel over the half opened gates”

“The only positive thing I can say is that Alistair and Lewis were pleasant and helpful on the phone. We waited three days for our delivery and it didn’t come. My refund was processed very quickly. It was my first time of using the Fish Society, but I will give them another go in the new year when things have calmed down. DPD were a disaster, both in terms of communication and total lack of delivery.”

“May not be your fault, but I ordered for delivery on 23rd as the seafood was to be our Christmas Eve supper. However it has only just been delivered now, midday on 24th and it is frozen solid and will not be ready for our supper tonight. Now we have nothing for Christmas Eve supper and will not want the seafood tomorrow as we have all our Christmas food. Very disappointing.”

“Good customer service but very poor food quality. Perhaps because the food is supplied frozen and may have been affected by an old date of packaging and may also have been thawed somewhere on the way and then refrozen..!”

“You use FedEx to supply your products. They do not store your products in refrigerated units. Nor do they prioritise your products over non- food items. This means that your products did not arrive with me for 4 days after they were supposed to arrive and I could not accept them. FedEx Durham’s distribution centre is currently experiencing a 4/5 day queue delay for dispatch. I therefore cannot review the products. You don’t seem to have realised this which suggests poor management. Neither do you answer your phone or reply to email via PayPal wrt sending the products in a safe a timely manner.”

Hello Stuart It is an incredibly difficult and frustrating scenario for everyone. We are advised by DPD about problem areas on a daily basis, it's too risky sending to these advised locations as the parcels would be destroyed if delayed too long. We are also without the Royal Mail. To combat this we have opened an account with FedEx and have just started to send with them in the last day or so. These processes regrettably aren't instant due to the paperwork involved but we pushed it as quickly as possible. I can see from our records that we now have an agreed delivery date for you, 15th December
