Reading your review was the first time we were aware that you weren't entirely happy with your order. We're sorry that you were disappointed that the prawns weren't cooked but we do say they are raw on our website under the heading Key Properties. Also in that section, we say where they are from which is Argentina.

They have made me very unhappy. 1 email a week would be fine. 3 emails a DAY is excessive and out the other side!!! Won’t be using again just to stop them clogging up my inbox. Grrrrr 😡😡😡

Fish was frozen one year ago. Poor quality. Very disappointing.

Hello Andrew We are sorry to read that you are disappointed. We adhere strictly to industry standards where white fish can be frozen for up to two years in industrial freezers (oily fish up to one year). Within this time there should be no adverse effects with regards to the quality or eating experience. Reading your review was the first time we were aware that you weren't entirely satisfied with your fish.

I ordered several products over the weekend, as I have often done, and the stuff arrived in seeming good shape. In the order were two tubs of roll mops. They were frozen solid, like everything else in the box. I put the tubs in the fridge to defrost over night. When I opened the fridge in the morning to get some milk, I was greeted with a stink of fish and vinegar. The bottoms of the tubs had cracks in them and had leaked all over my fridge. I had to take everything out and wash the whole fridge. Roll mops are pickled and are not normally frozen, but these were well packaged, but frozen rock solid. Maybe that burst the plastic?

Oh Wolfgang, we must have been your least favourite company when you opened your fridge. We are so sorry for the dreadful mess in your fridge. We have been in touch directly and hopefully have made amends!

Up to the last order everything, the quality,the delivery were always good. BUT this time the order arrived a day late and was partly defrosted,not to worry so you say re freeze it this I did. So a couple of days later Ihad the kippers for breakfast and the crab for lunch and an upset somach for Dinner. What I wonder do I do with the remaining fish.

Nice fish, appalling customer service. Ordered for delivery for 5th of December didn’t arrive called customer service to rearrange for the 7th, no issue. Received texts during the night from ”Alastair” asking to change delivery date to 13th as my order had not arrived (7th). After brief conversation that I had already rearranged for the 7th thought everything ok. Notified on the 6th that my order would not arrive on the 7th. Contacted “Alastair”, possibly the rudest person in the world who just wanted to cancel the order to make his life easier. Blaming mail strikes when you agree alternative dates does not work. Order finally delivered 14th luckily with enough time to prep for Christmas as it was salmon to be cured and smoked. Beware of Alastair.

I was expecting the goods to be delivered on Sunday 8th January 2023 but there was no delivery, and no email to tell me that delivery had been rescheduled. Having paid extra for a weekend delivery I had expected better service from yourselves

The delivery date was altered twice: from the Saturday to the Friday and then back to Saturday. When the fish arrived it had obviously not been stored properly. The ice bag had melted completely , the burgers were not thoroughly frozen. I haven't used any of the fish yet so couldn't see the state of the skate wings. They felt very cold but I'm not sure they hadn't thawed a bit. I am a pescatarian so I was looking forward to trying some different fish. I'm very disappointed.

Hello Nicki, we are really sorry about the delivery of your order. Unfortunately we had enormous logistical issues with our couriers. Under these very challenging circumstances, we tried to do our absolute best to ensure our customers got their orders even though, in some instances, delivery dates changed. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Most shipments arrive frozen but even if defrosted, when you open your box your fish will be at a very low temperature suitable to put in your freezer.

It didn't. I never received my Christmas order and didn't find out until 24 December when I rang and emailed my query as to where my delivery was. At least someone returned my email and said they were going to refund my money. So you get two stars for customer service. I will try again, in the hope that you are as good as you say you are, being aware that two strikes are a shame on me for being trusting.

Two rearranged deliveries. Alastair from “customer service” just wanted to cancel the order and accepted no responsibility to agreeing to a delivery day and failing to deliver. Products are great but poor customer service left a sour taste. 3rd delivery provided no 1 hour slot so was left waiting for order.

When the fact that my order would not arrived became obvious, I was advised immediately that I would be refunded. I appreciate that the issue was with the carriers, but can’t rate the service any higher.
