“The lobster and crab were delicious, but the oysters and oysters were frozen and completely inedible, so fishy and fibrous that I had to throw them all away.”

“Paid for the courier on a friday night thinking I would get it the next day, I got it on Monday. Tiny little block for £26 delivered, I got a piece 3x the size, sushini grade £12”

Good morning We are sorry that you are not entirely happy. Unfortunately, as you placed your order at 6.52pm on the Friday evening, you missed the cut off time of 2pm for next day delivery. Consequently we offered the next available delivery date which was on your email confirmation. We do offer free weekday delivery on orders over £60 but delivery charges for single items are regrettably and unavoidably high. Given that your order was for £20 and you requested a by 1pm delivery, you were charged a total of £10.90 for delivery, all of which is explained on our delivery page. Kind regards The Fish Society

“Haven’t tried the clams yet but disappointed one pack out of the 3 ordered seemed to be defrosted on delivery which put me off - so I put the defrosted ones in bin. I notified the Fish Society but they say delivery of frozen ones not guaranteed - then not sure why the other 2 packs were frozen and p@p reflects the extra cost of packaging insulation ? Odd ! Otherwise delivery on time”

“A lot of the mussel shells were broken but the most annoying part was how dirty they were and the chunks of barnacles that came out of the packet. I followed the instructions and put them straight into the pot, so should have really rinsed and cleaned them. It spoiled the dinner as I had to ‘fish’ out a lot of the rogue barnacles and shattered shells.”

Hi Chris, Thank you for your order and we are sorry to hear you don't feel able to return. We appreciate that the £9.90 delivery fee is perhaps high in relation to the order but in truth this doesn't even cover the costs we incur to send it.
