I’m afraid they did not make me happy. The pet food is disappointing and the fish I bought for me was very expensive.

I paid for the Saturday surcharge and never received my order. I emailed customer service, who said the delivery driver left it in my bin. It's not The Fish Society's fault, however I've paid for something and never received it. I found out it was in my bin 3 days after it was delivered. No apology or amends were made. Poor customer service.

Hello Logan We can see from the courier's tracking that your order was delivered on Saturday as requested. When you emailed us on the following Monday we responded and sent you an email of where the parcel had been left - you should have received a notification once the parcel had been delivered so apologies if that wasn't the case. The items in your order were ambient products so hopefully they didn't come to any harm and that you enjoyed them. Kind regards The Fish Society

This was our first order, so not a good experience. Poor delivery as package was left on "back" doorstep in full sun (delivered to the wrong side of the house despite having the correct postcode ) and the DPD courier didn't knock or ring the bell, so the package was left in full sun for 45 minutes before we discovered it had been left. All the items on the top of the box were fully defrosted and warm to the touch, so 50% of the order had to be binned.

Hello Nick Reading your review was the first time we were aware of this. You should have received a notification from DPD giving you a one hour delivery time slot and then another notification telling you that your order had been delivered. Was this not the case? I have no complaints about the quality of the lobster but the delivery part of my last purchase was appalling. I know you say that a great percentage of your fish and seafood is delivered within 24 hours. This was not the case with my last order which took over 2 days to arrive. It was therefore very questionable as to whether my son and I should eat it. As it seemed reasonably cold in the dry ice packing my son went ahead and had his and I have put mine in the freezer. But the other problem is where the delivery is left when I am out (as I was in this case) I have requested that you leave it out of sight in a bin cupboard and NOT on the front doorstep but your courier doesn't seem to understand this simple request so the packages are left in full sight for anyone to steal. It is a great pity that the quality of your produce does not match up with that of delivery. Brian Baker, Peterborough

Hello Brian We're sorry that your order incurred a 24 hour delay. All our orders are packed with sufficient coolant to withstand such a delay which happens on very rare occasions. So long as the contents were cold to the touch, even if they are no longer hard frozen, it is perfectly OK to refreeze. If we can be of any further assistance then please let us know. Very disappointed with the size of the 2/2 dress lobster. I think they’re the size that should be thrown back. I would prefer to pay more to see one of a decent size ,as for the muscles. Not very pleased with them at all very small ,regretting buying three packs☹️

Hello Reading your review was the first time we were aware that you weren't entirely satisfied with your delivery. All our orders are packed with sufficient coolant to withstand a day's delay and we're confident that the contents of your order stood a good chance of being cold to the touch on delivery. I made an order for a dinner party I was having and was contacted in the afternoon the day of the party & told my order would now be late. I asked for a refund but was told the company policy is that sometimes orders are late & 98% of deliveries are on time which was obviously no consolation to me. I expected better from customer service having been a long time customer & won’t be using this company again.

Good morning Michael It is never our intention top let our customers down and we appreciate how frustrating and inconvenient late deliveries can be. Unfortunately our courier's trunk broke down on the way to the sorting hub which meant that 70+ Fish Society orders incurred a 24 hour delay. We emailed all our customers as soon as we were aware of this issue but regrettably this situation was totally beyond our control. it did not make my day I was looking forward to my crab, have bought and frozen my own before so thought it would be okay, tasted more of dish water than crab

It didn't the sole was OK but the rest not worth the money. I will not repeat the mistake and simply go down to the docks for my supplies.

Quick delivery, but the blue tuna portion turned out to be much smaller than expected and quality is by far not matching the price. The salmin is also quite an average quality, by far not like you buy as "balik"
