Received 6 sword fish steaks, 4 were fine but two had thick blood lines running through the middle of the filet. Removing the blood line would have resulted in many small pieces and so I grilled them whole. This was a mistake as the taste was spoilt. Not a happy customer.

Fish never got delivered - I had to chase around for it on the day it was due to be told it had fine to the wrong depot, then I heard nothing and had to chase again - I had to inform you that the delivery had failed and the courier had destroyed it.

It didn't make me happy. Some of the very senior staff are also very rude on the phone.

The “sushi grade” tuna I bought was sub standard and frankly mushy and flavourless. I was not pleased with it at all. I have actually been meaning to get in touch but other more pressing matters have prevented me doing so.

Got what I ordered but the texture of the defrosted sashimi was not palatable, even though I followed the instructions. The tuna had no taste other than blood. Very pricey as well.

The battered scampi was completely defrosted and as I do not refreeze I had to invite my daughter and family for tea so we could eat them all.I can't believe you employ a firm that picks items up keeps probably keeps it in the van all night then delivers it at noon the following day.I did send a report in to Alistair but got no responseneedless to say I will not be ordering battered scampi again. I am really sorry, and I wanted to love the fish but I never got to try it. The delivery was due for Friday and when it finally arrived on Monday morning after a heat wave it was only in a state for the bin as it was thoroughly defrosted and stinking. It is such a shame. I would credit your customer services team for refunding me immediately and I am grateful but sadly I wouldn’t trust the delivery company so I wouldn’t order again, which is more about them than you.

the Fish Society is brilliant, delivery of fish very good (Quick Time) fish quality excellent, range very good, if a little pricey.The problem I have with the whole experience, is with the website, which is so clunky that on three occasion when wanting to buy, I have left the website leaving goods in the basket. Just toooooo frustrating.

Although I really enjoyed the soft shell crab I was a disappointed with the condition of the product when it was delivered as although it was cold it was completely defrosted. As I was using the product that day it was ok but would put me off if I was going to keep frozen

They had been packaged 8 months ago and frozen. They were very small. They tasted ok, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

On delivery found out dressed crab contained wheat flour Did not expect that on contacting the Fish Society I was told wheat flour was in the ingredient section. Silly me I thought that when buying dressed crab it only contained the white and brown meat. Is the wheat flour used to bolster it up. My daughter suffers from a wheat allergy so she won’t be eating hers. People who suffer wheat allergies beware . To say I’m disappointed is an understatement I shall not be ordering from the fish society again

Poor Value for money. Portion sizes far too small for the price you pay. Sorry will not order again or recommend

Hello . Delivery was on time. Canned food is half filled. The taste is good but the canned food is half filled. I wanted to buy again, but I'm not happy. Regards
