Received half of my order, even if the invoice said all should be in it, and in a box that was opened. Packaging in it self could be more bespoke to match the webpage.

Fish was left in unsafe location, against instructions, without making any attempt to contact me to come and pick it up or to make me aware that the delivery had been made. I know it’s not you making the delivery but since it’s part of your service you’re still responsible for it. You really need to review the delivery Company you’re using. Also, asking for feedback only if people have been ‘impressed’ with your service’s will give you an over-representation of content customers. It makes me think that you don’t care about getting the service right by getting a realistic view of the service you’re providing by and learning from where it went wrong. It also sends the message that you don’t care about people who had a poor service and that you’re not committed to getting it right in the future. A shame really, the fish was really good.

Apologies that your order was left unsafe by the courier company. We are currently only shipping with DPD now as they have a proven track record of reliable deliveries. We encourage both positive and negative feedback from our customers because we take the stance that if we don't know about a problem then we can't put it right and indeed we respond to both equally. We aim to keep all our customers happy but do understand that this isn't always possible to achieve.

Ordered wild salmon for Christmas, tasted like trout :( was a nice piece of fish, on the pricey side

I am sorry to say that we were not very happy as the mussels were terrible. 90% of them were still closed following cooking rendering them inedible. This really spoilt our Christmas Eve supper for us and my parents, which was very sad. We spent a lot of money to make sure at distance we could have a nice supper and we were very disappointed, sorry.

Then fish was very well packed and arrived exactly at the time stated. However it was no bigger than the palm of my hand and the taste was very disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback Andrea and we are sorry that you feel that our fish is overpriced. By way of a small explanation our fish is restaurant grade and therefore you are paying for much better quality fish than you would be able to purchase in supermarkets.

My order of 400 gm of smoked salmon was missing. I only ordered three items and the important one was missing. If you cannot put three items in a box why bother being in business. The smoked salmon was for the Christmas table.

The order arrived on time however on defrosting the product as per instructions the shell fish was very soggy and tasteless. Sadly I would not recommend.

I recently placed an order for 3 items with The Fish Society. The quality of the product was good but unfortunately the delivery process did not work properly. I booked the delivery of the product to be on a Friday, as I had guests for lunch on Saturday, and the items finally arrived on Saturday evening. As a result of this, I could not treat my guests as they deserved. At least, TFS informed me on Friday evening about the potential delay, which it finally happened. During the final delivey process, the courier never complied with the delivery window (which would actually match with our scheduled lunch) and the tracking feature did not work either, making impossible to have an idea about the estimated time of arrival. Dissapointing experience making me wonder if I will ever place and order with this company again.

For being an XL lobster it was very expensive and we weren’t impressed with the quality. We have ordered from several companies and this was extremely disappointing. The Coques Saint-Jaques were tasty and filling

I don't order often but have always been very pleased with the delivery, packaging and the fish. Not so this time. I had ordered smoked eel, and decided to include some tuna mishapes. Some of the pieces were the size of a prawn and the taste when cooked was poor. I always hesitate before placing an order because of the cost. I'll hesitate a bit longer next time.
