Hi, the 3 trays of sea urchin I received recently were not very nice unfortunately. We had a sushi night at home and they were not creamy at all, with very mild, or if any, the usual sea urchin taste. My brother ordered before and was very good, however this time was nothing like the previous. We were quite disappointed because we ordered 3 boxes and they were not good.

A terrible company to deal with. Attempted to cancel an order that had shipped at 03:05??? Food that arrived was half unfrozen - hello?? - this is fish products. I have a meat thermometer for cooking roasts of beef, so out of curiosity I placed it in the delivery box and closed the lid ... 12oC!! Whole order went straight in the bin to avoid any potential food poisoning.

Jonathan your order arrived on time and it is very hard to believe that the temperature inside the thermal packaging had reached 12c as all parcels are packed to cope with 48hrs transit time. Colleagues have been in touch via email explaining the same. Sorry this didn't work out.

Poor quality packing and the fish had thawed on arrival. Scampi only of mediocre quality. Smoked salmon was not impressive. I will not be buying any further from you.

We are very sorry to hear this Dr Neal. The history on your order shows that this was delivered on the correct day and it is therefore hard to believe that your fish would have arrived defrosted as we use dry ice and thermal packaging. Most orders can cope with 48hrs transit time. It is normal for the coating i.e. batter/breaded on fish to arrive floppy as this doesn't remain frozen but the fish beneath would be. It is very surprising that you didn't enjoy our smoked salmon that won Good Housekeeping's best choice in 2019 however, we do understand that it may not have been to your liking. Sorry this didn't work out.

It;'s made us happy for years BUT our last order was a nightmare. We were notified of a delivery, stayed home over the indicated period. There was no delivery and no way of properly tracking the parcel and there was no communication from the courier company. No reason was offered for the failure to deliver. We were told in the late morning of the following day that another delivery slot had been assigned- the late afternoon. and in the event the order was then delivered although no reason (or apology)( was offered by the courier . None of the chilling materials- dry ice for example- were cold and the fish was cold but unfrozen. After another phone call to you we were assured that we could put them in the freezer. I was concerned about this as my wife is on constant chemotherapy and has a weak immune system. All in all we had an unnecessarily anxious couple of days which spoiled our usual pleasure when your products arrive.

Sorry to hear this Mr Rathbone. About 1% of our parcels arrive a day late, we point this out on our delivery page. Reasons can vary from road traffic accidents to missorts and these days because the couriers are handling an overwhelming amount of parcels due to Covid. All parcels are packed to cope with 48hrs in transit, sometimes the fish arrives cold instead of frozen but still safe to freeze. Dry ice evaporates and isn't usually visible, it's the vapours in the box that keeps the fish cold. Please accept our sincere apologies for the anxiety this has caused you both and be assured that your fish is safe to eat and will have come to no harm by being placed in your freezer. If there is anything you are unhappy with when you do have the fish just let us know.

We won’t be buying again; I know we are in Times of Covid but our local butcher can supply at a much more competitive price and his supplier is direct from Cornwall. Not being a fish lover I didn’t appreciate how small the portions were for the price charged. Not for us I’m afraid :o(

Unfortunately most disappointed. The kippers were so salty they were inedible. The trout lacked taste and the cod was below par. Sorry about this I would have loved to have given you an excellent review. As I said very very disappointed. M.M.Prever

The delivery arrived one week later. I had to call to check if my order was processed or not. Besides, one of the can of cod liver, was actually damaged. The only reason i am not rating it VERY POOR is because the lady to whom i talked to when inquiring about the whereabouts of my order was professional and polite.

The salmon steaks I've received were quite dry on the outside, perhaps they were over-frozen.

I was very disappointed with the fish which was bland verging on tasteless and very overpriced. Also frozen samphire is not a good idea!

The salmon, tuna, and yellowtail sashimi was ok but the octopus and squid sashimi had very strong fish odour. We consumed them on the same day we received the delivery and we are no strangers to sashimi so we do notice the strong smell which was quite off putting

Spent over £140 on various items including Prawns, Snow Crab, King Crab and my daughter’s absolute favourite, Scallops for her 30th Birthday meal. The crab and prawns were amazing, however half the scallops, once carefully defrosted, looked as though they had already been chewed and spat out. Really disappointed, especially as I sent an email to provide feedback on the day of receipt which has still not been responded to. Great produce, really poor customer service.
