“The Fish Society I’m emailing you to confirm I won’t be placing any more orders with yourself as dpd cannot be trusted to follow instructions. I asked for the parcel of fish to be delivered to my neighbour, via the text they sent which they ignored. They then leave the parcel “In the front porch” according to the email you sent ? I don’t have a porch ! It gets better, they leave the parcel on my front step for the world to see in bright sun shine, frozen fish being left in direct sun light on a hot day, smart driver !! It’s a shame as I really like your sea bass. Regards Peter Lunn”

“Everything arrived in a state of partial defrost. Not just slightly, but mostly defrosted. This meant one of the salmon blocks fell apart when touched as if beyond its sell by date, the paper the Tuna was wrapped in was covered with spots of black/blue mould, and everything else had to be eaten much sooner than intended as it clearly could not be stored more than a day or two and definitely couldn't be re-frozen as it had almost fully thawed on arrival. Not the best experience. The salmon that did survive was absolutely lovely and made some great sushi, but overall the experience was poor.”

As long as you have received your products cold to the touch, as if they have been in the fridge, they are safe to consume and to freeze. “Nothing made me happy... The salmon saku blocks were dyed and tasteless. The sable fish and yellowtail kingfisher were both tasteless! All these went into the bin along with the unopened pack oh Ebi butterfly prawns. What a F'ing joke!”
