Although the delivery and logistics part of it was brilliant, I was very disappointed with the eye-watering black cod price, coupled with what I actually received, which was the tail 'fillet' part of the fish. Although it is clearly understood the fish is sold on the website by weight, I had expected to receive the noble part of the fish, especially given its price. Won't order again Gustavo Mundel

Not a juicy and tasty as the first time I ordered! Could just be a bad batch.

Sorry, but they only tasted of potato and spring onions: no taste of fish! Very disappointing, since Smoked Haddock are my favourite fish.

I've given the kippers a low score but to be fair, I may have cooked them wrong, I grilled them, and not poached.

Deliver and service very good, the product was poor m, most of the shells were empty, so quite poor value product

Order turned up incomplete. I got a refund on the missing items, but I lost confidence in the service

We are very sorry to hear that you have lost confidence in our service. Items missed out of orders are rare and I'm glad that you were refunded for the missing products. We understand how disappointing this can be but very much hope that you give us another chance to redeem ourselves.

The large raw lobsters we bought were in fact not large at all and had very small amounts of meat in the tails. The logistics were all fine but the product was not great for the price.

Good service, but unfortunately it was bought as Christmas present and was slightly chewy and bland. We were comparing it to eel we have had in Amsterdam

Hi guys, I am very sorry to say that the fish ordered was not up-to your very high standard that I have come to expect. Your lobster was overcooked and was very rubbery indeed which really did spoil my initial offering of our Christmas lunch. Sorry to say that I was very disappointed. Mike Perkins

Disappointing to say the least. For what I paid and the amount I got was shocking and over priced. Since I get this type of fish back home for a fraction of the cost and fresh! Things in UK is so expensive and no wonder people resort to purchasing items overseas. I won’t be ordering again since it is way to expensive.

The kipper fillets were disappointing as they were quite lacking in flavour.

Very poor value for money, postage also expensive. You can get similar products at half the price from local fishmongers or even supermarkets, very disappointed. Excessive packaging.

The delivery service was very good, but the Smokies weren't that good, i was in Arbroath two months ago and had fresh Smokies, when thawed yours were very bland in taste in comparison. Last year i was in Whitby and bought frozen Smokies, when thawed they had more flavour than yours as well. My other observation would be that the two and a half Smokies were frozen together, so they had to be thawed all together, which isn't really cost effective. Regards Simon Hall

Defrosted brown crab meat turned to slush. Salmon eggs dry. Otherwise ok, but an expensive way to learn.

I was very dissointed with the whelks they are absolutely tasteless,I am so dissointed with the fish society and that have normally such a good reputation.

I received an order of large North Atlantic prawns three bags two of the bags were mixed small medium with a few large in and only one bag was completely large prawns these were North Atlantic peel prawns I made a complaint But they didn't act on my complaint sending photographs to prove what I'd heard I had to phone back spoke to Liz she received the photographs said they will refund some money onto my account with them for my next order but they have not told me how much this is to be I still don't feel satisfied of how it's been dealt with I feel I should've been told how much they're going to refund these prawns good quality north Atlantic peeled prawns are not cheap
