Delivery to the wrong property. Fish were semi defrosted on finding out. Delivery company could not have been less interested.

We ordered crab fish cakes and lobster tails as a Christmas treat. The lobster tails were small and the crab cakes were tasteless. Very disappointed and won't be buying from you in the future.

I ordered 4 dressed crab of which the white meat was dry and the brown meat had an acrid taste, not nice. I Also ordered 6 packets of peeled brown shrimps they were small and tasted disturbingly like anchovies nothing like I've ever tasted before.as I have caught brown shrimps and cooked and eaten them.I also ordered a catering pack of Northern Atlantic prawns cooked in their shells it is clear to me that these prawns have been crushed at sometimes in their preparation as the shells are soft and broken and some have their heads or tails missing and they taste very oily almost like a faint diesel oil taste not good for a prawn cocktail. I also ordered 6 potted shrimps but they too were over seasoned with some unneeded spice. I did speak to the manager of Fish Society who did credited me £30. He would look into the taste of the peeled shrimps and get back to me, that was over a week ago and no contact yet. My personal view is go elsewhere for cheaper and better produce, I wish I had but I will in future.

The Jar of lobster Paste was broken and had to be thrown away which is a very expensive way for me R Hughes

Hello The mussel was ok, the rest of fish ,razorshell and clam , was full of sand. I didn't enjoy and i waste most of them. Regards Antonio

Sorry, But I was Quite Disappointed,I usually buy 100grm cartons , for £5 . each , from marks & Spencers , But I thought buying 3-4 a week , mostly 4 , was being a bit wasteful and worked out expensive , costing £ 60-80 per month . just for crab sandwiches. Hence why I thought it would be better to buy larger amounts , at cheaper price . Unfortunately your crab is no where near as good quality it was very wet ,almost soggy, and to be honest it worked out dearer, by the time I paid the £10 delivery . I have now decided to see if I can buy from Billingsgate . Sorry I was hoping to have a regular order

Hello Vera I just saw your review. I don’t know if you realised this but you ordered our claw and body meat blend, which is our cheaper white crab meat. It is intended for cooking, not for sandwiches. It sells well. But it does not sell as well as our all claw meat pack, which is in fact one of our best sellers. The claw meat is £16.60 per 227g pack, against £11.80 for the blend. 4 packs cost £59.70 against £41.90. I am sure you would be delighted by the claw meat, which is non-pasteurised and an absolutely top notch product. We have put a £16.60 credit on your account, in case you would like to try it. I'm afraid I was disappointed, it was supposed to be XL but I would have got more for my money if I had purchased dressed lobster from M&S. It certainly was nothing like a previous purchase and didn't even taste fresh. I hadn't expected it to be frozen either, they usually come in a special box with ice.

Good quality fish but the various herrings and rollmops came frozen in plastic cartons. When defrosting about 30% of them leaked. The frozen brine had cracked the plastic cartons which then leaked all the brine out into the fridge. Needs frost-proof packaging.

Website does not inhibit buying seafood to be sent to Australia, even when I was happy to pay the £10 postage. Then get email saying it is not viable to send one jar of jellied eels... These were to be a gift to my 82 year old father who was born in Bethnal Green. Such a shame, he has spoken of the famous east end jellied eels for the past 50 years sincewe have been in Australia.

Good service but horrendously expensive due to high absolute costs & exceptionally high packaging / transport costs. Not the most eco friendly way to obtain fish.

Much too expensiveo for what one gets , smoked trout ok but 20 Percent more than in supermarket ,herrings in wine and dill , only average Will not be buying again
