Did not get the delivery and it eventually arrived 5 days later completely defrosted You gave me a credit so no loss but was disappointed not to have received the order

Unfortunately, due to a stock keeping error, we are unable to send the Patagonian Toothfish so we therefore issued a refund. We accept that this was inconvenient and offered our apologies at the time. Kind regards The Fish Society

Ordered shellfish came a day late after travelling for 2 days most of it was defrosted no refund wouldn't deal with them again wouldn't advice anybody else to deal with them either

Can't comment on the crab claws because they never turned up and The Fish Society and DPD didn't appear to know what happened to them! Terrible.

The Fish Society itself seems fine but delivery was shockingly bad. When we couldn’t find the package, I jokingly asked the postie if he’d seen a box of fish as one seemed to be missing. He came back up to the house a few minutes later to say when he got into his van he could see a box stuffed in the hedge behind the bins. In the meantime I had contacted the Fish Society to say we’d had a delivery note but no apparent delivery. To date - about a week later - we’ve still not had a reply to follow up. Given that the likely outcome - had postie not spotted the box from up in his van - and had I not joked about it with him - was that rats or foxes would have got to this expensive order before we did - this was not a good experience and not one I’m keen to repeat.

Hi there, We are very sorry to hear of this experience and can see from the courier tracking the consignment was placed next to what looks like a bin store. We trust this was deemed a 'safe place' by the delivery driver. We endeavour to reply to all enquirers almost immediately and are sorry this didn't happen on this occasion. 10 spam emails in 5 days - including a weekend - following delivery ie not connected in any way with the transaction itself, purely abuse of the fact that they have my email address. I will NEVER engage with these people again.

Absolutely disgusting company and products! Purchase a lot of seafood for a birthday meal and paid for delivery by 1pm. They didn't send the products via 1pm delivery as confirmed by the courier and tried to lie to me and say it was the couriers fault. Products came extremely late at night and could not be used, wasted £200 on other ingredients and needed to try and find a reservation out last minute. Snotty attitude through email and on the phone. Fish came and smelt rancid (clearly off), they are refusing to give me a refund (I wont stop). Company is awful please avoid at all costs and get your seafood from other places.

Good afternoon Unfortunately our courier failed to deliver your order by 1pm on the delivery date of your choice but they did deliver your order at 16.35 on the same day. Although 99% of orders arrive on time it is regrettable that 1 in 100 can be delayed for a variety of reasons once in the courier networks. Sadly your order was in that 1% on this occasion and we apologise for that. We refunded the delivery charge and hoped that you would consider that reasonable. Reading your review is the first time there has been any mention of the fish being "off". It was not mentioned in any of your earlier correspondence. We are sorry that this has not worked out. It didn’t as I was so disappointed that this present that I sent to my sister for her birthday was so poor. Even more disappointed that I have sent an email complaining at least three times with no acknowledgement or reply
