“My parcel was due on 24/12 and was never delivered by the courier. The courier company told me to contact the company - which I have tried to do several times but have had no response from customer services. The email and phone number listed on the website do not work and are invalid. I’ve received multiple marketing emails each day but still no response about my cancelled order. The order was for Xmas dinner so was extremely disappointed when it didn’t show and I’d paid for delivery to make sure it arrived in time. I’m even more disappointed by the lack of customer aftercare.”

“Crab, scallops, salmon, lobster ? Arrived yesterday. All good although I cannot believe how tiny the lobster half s are !! Guess I should have seen the weight! The lobster halfs are 6 inches long! So will not buy them again !”

“Late delivery part of lunch menu with guests Not happy to be let down by DPD. They were at DPD depot at 9.30.deppt from our house is 20mins drive time not coming until late afternoon.”

“I ordered cooked Prawns and smoked Salmon for a Christmas starter for six... DPD stated they had the package & were delivering the food that day, but the day passed with no sign... I was later contacted and told that the delivery would now be the following day... I accept that this happens but with frozen food products I was concerned. Fish Society adverts market themselves as better than supermarkets because they freeze their produce immediately and move it on to to the customer quickly; my purchase however, was spending 2 days in the back of a DPD van... When the package eventually arrived the DPD driver didn't even attempt to knock on the door, but just left it by a back gate... I contacted Fish Society and when they got back to me they stated that providing the prawns had not fully defrosted I could place them in the freezer; I wasn't so sure. The prawns had defrosted and were to be used at a later date so I needed to keep them frozen. However, because they had defrosted whilst with DPD I used them early and got some others from my local supermarket... I appreciate that this was DPDs fault (they are generally poor), but it is Fish Society's responsibility and although the produce was good, I will probably not use them again...”

“Customer service and delivery excellent. Fabulous quality fish. I've so far tried the black cod, prawns, ( raw and cooked) and squid. The raw prawns were the best I have ever purchased and the other fish was superb too. Expensive but well worth it.”

“At short notice, I ordered a whole salmon to be delivered the following day. It was delivered on time and well-packed. still just frozen four days later and after a long car journey. The family - 8 of us enjoyed it cold with an avocado mayo and the leftovers were made into a salad for the following day. Will order next year (I live abroad but visit for Xmas). And possibly in the summer.”

“Our order arrived promptly and our sashimi grade fish tuna, kingfish and butterfly prawns were out of this world yummy. If like us it’s for Christmas, get your order in quick as things do run out of stock (understandably)! Absolutely delighted with our experience and quality of produce from The Fish Society. Thank you!!”
