The whole salmon was fantastic and good value, Delivery was on time and the instructions for defrosting were spot on. Thank you, we made a delicious choice for our festive gathering.

Size of lobster was very poor same size as the supermarket ones that u pay £10 for wont be odering them again Crab was ok the prawns were noce

Sadly I wasn’t impressed with the products I received. My order came with items missing, which was quickly resolved once I called the team up (thank you!) out of an entire bag of clams only 2 opened during the cooking process so I had to throw the entire dish away.

The delivery came super quick and the products were packaged perfectly, the quality of the produce is also great. Will definitely be ordering soon.

Ordered from the fish society for the first time and the last time in December. I ordered quantities of three items. “King” scallops, they were small and the roe fell apart when defrosted indicating they were not that fresh when frozen. The king prawns in shells with heads on were ok and as described. The wild sea bass fillets were the flattest skinniest sea bass I’ve ever seen. So overall a 3 out of 5 is fair if not generous.

I've been a customer for many years now and cannot tell how happy I'm with the quality of the products and service. For the first time, this year, my order was delivered incorrectly and they promptly sent me the missing items - customer service at a high standard.

Great customer service. I’d ordered fillets of salmon and she explained how it is less expensive to buy a larger piece. I didn’t order due to reading some negative reviews regarding delivery but - I will order from this company because their excellent reviews far outweigh the others. I

Bought large prawns and crab claws for Christmas dinner. Prawns were seasoned with onion and dill butter and grilled. Served with fresh oranges in a salad with bread rolls. Starters was the crab claws. Placed in a zip lock bag and gently hammered to crack the shell. Will definitely buy again.

I love the variety of fish available and the excellent packaging which ensures deep frozen arrival. I ordered several different packs and so far have only used one, the organic salmon fillets which were excellent, really tasty and good quality. They will definitely be on a future order.

This was our second time of ordering and I have to say it was just as good as the first time !! Everything is so fresh and the care taken with the packaging is unreal . We wanted to do a boil as a family treat but when we looked at supermarket prices it made it well out of our reach financially then we found The Fish Society !!! Boxing Day was made extra special thanks !!

Huge disappointment. I changed to The Fish Society as our Michelin Chefs used them and I presumed they would be good and reliable. I ordered nearly £250 worth or fish for Christmas Eve, specifically for sushi and sashimi along with other items. I placed the order early November for delivery Mon 22nd Dec thereby plenty of notice. I received a phone call the week before asking to change my date to the previous Friday (19th) I was a little worried it may be a little early or if there was any problems would it still get delivered on the weekend but I was assured everything was frozen (which was a suprise) and that it could go straight into the freezer on arrival and it would definitely arrive. It should have arrived by 5.30pm by courier... it didn't arrive, in addition, I received an email an hour after the parcel "should" have arrived informing me "due to stock errors" some of the sashimi wasn't in the shipment and I would be refunded. The rest of the order spent the entire weekend sitting in a van and arrived the following Monday as the courier didn't deliver on weekends. I tried phoning, emailed several times with no response. The parcel arrived the following Monday afternoon, everything defrosted and warm, went straight in the bin. There was a handful of ice packs on top of the items in a standard cardboard box that was too big for the quantity of fish and had no chance of keeping the items cold. I eventually got to speak to someone who confirmed the entire order would be refunded, they were quick to blame the courier but personally I think they took on more orders then they could handle and overextended themselves... I am still waiting for the refund, apparently it could take 10-15 days. It was too late to get replacements so we had to change the entire evening to accommodate the lack of fish. Of course they don't consider the fact that I am still out of pocket nearly £250 which may be a negligible amount to them but a lot of people would need that money to be able to buy replacements. I have previously always used the Cornish Fishmonger and they have never let me down in a decade, I will return to them for the future and will suggest the same for our chefs.

My parcel was due on 24/12 and was never delivered by the courier. The courier company told me to contact the company - which I have tried to do several times but have had no response from customer services. The email and phone number listed on the website do not work and are invalid. I’ve received multiple marketing emails each day but still no response about my cancelled order. The order was for Xmas dinner so was extremely disappointed when it didn’t show and I’d paid for delivery to make sure it arrived in time. I’m even more disappointed by the lack of customer aftercare.
