“Ordered a pair of men’s gloves. Recipient was very pleased with them. Fitted well and were tested immediately on a walk. They kept hands warm on a bitterly cold but sunny day. They were delivered when expected. Thank you”

“Some years ago I bought a sweater from the store in Penrith. It's been my favourite jumper but starting to look a little tired, and I hadn't been able to find a replacement - until an internet search revealed the new online service. I ordered the same jumper! It came the next day, excellent service, and I was so delighted that I ordered a second with a different design! I have then both for Christmas.”

“Bought a pair of Alpaca socks for Christmas for my daughter who suffers terribly with chilblains. Hopefully these will keep her feet warm and allow them to breathe as these are made from natural fibres. Excellent service. Would highly recommend the company.”

“I purchase two separate orders from Alpaca, both for Christmas gifts for family - I have purchased a birthday gift for my daughter back in October. My only comment/suggestion so far is that it would have been helpful to have the option of gift wrapping with gift message. As it is I have had to advise my children (grown ups) to expect a parcel delivery and that there is no gift wrap or message, but to keep it under the Christmas tree until Christmas. I don't know anything more about the quality/fit of the items until I hear from the recipients. Hopefully they will be good comments. thank you. Marion Manson-Morley.”

“First time I’ve tried to buy clothing online & wanted to buy items for my wife and, in so doing, support our local Cumbrian businesses. Had a look at a few Keswick shops that had information online, but I wasn’t very impressed with the quality of their descriptions; when I phoned them up about specific items, I was told they didn’t stock it & it could only be ordered online. Then, I found The Alpaca Clothing Company. What a refreshing difference, especially as I am Covid-19 Extremely Vulnerable & frightened about going into shops at the moment. I emailed through some questions and got a prompt & very helpful response from Chantelle. She made it so easy for a bloke, who is colour blind & a novice in such matters, to buy matching accessories as a surprise present for his wife. Her follow-up emails were all very helpful & polite; nothing was too much trouble. I am so pleased for the reassurance & help she provided, so am only too pleased to Highly Recommend online shopping with the Alpaca Clothing Company. I wish others would follow your lead; especially Men’s Outfitters. If I cannot have confidence that what I have purchased online will meet my requirements, then I won’t order anything; I cannot afford to risk having to go to the Post Office to return items over & over again. We MUST keep our High Streets & Local Shops OPEN. I also hate Amazon & avoid them like the Plague!”

“Would have loved to have shopped in person but was very impressed by the online service. An excellent range and extremely efficient online service. I was buying a Christmas gift and was very happy with the product which arrived the next day. My only criticism is that the beautiful pale pink alpaca was roughly wrapped in bright green tissue paper. White would have been so much better. The outer packaging was fine. I will definitely be tempted to buy again from such a beautiful range.”
